About

Fun-abil8y Moving Forward aims to help disabled children and adults live life to the MAX! We provide the following services

· Specialist evening weekend and holiday clubs and activities for disabled children aged 3-19 years

· Day Opportunities for disabled adults aged 18-60 years, this includes volunteering, physical activity, building independence, making and keeping friends etc.

· Support for parents and carers of disabled children/adults and their families

· Support through transition from child to adulthood

· Provider of Education other than at School (EOTAS) support

· A multi-lingual advice service in Eastern European and Asian Languages covering benefits, housing, adaptions, employment, health, education.

Opening times

The Centre is open 9-5 Monday to Friday

St James is fully accessible to disabled people

Catchment area

Derby City plus South and Mid Derbyshire

Target group

Disabled people aged 3-60 and their families

Referral method

Children can only be referred directly by professionals or families if they have their own funding package. Otherwise children need to go through the Derby City Council Short Break TeamAdults can be referred by professionals or families but they will need to have a funding package in place before they start.
