Description of service
Provides meals, groceries and nutrition information to people living with HIV in London, helping them to get well, stay well, and live independently. Support is provided free through a network of trained volunteers. Expertise is shared with a wider audience through publications and fact sheets. Information is collected and shared with partner organisations to influence policy and improve the lives of people living with HIV. Referrals: must be referred by a social worker, healthcare worker, or by other HIV organisations.Volunteers: The Food Chain welcomes people from all sections of the community.
