About

Dyscover is a charity providing long-term support and opportunities to people with aphasia and their families. Daily sessions are led by professional speech and language therapists and are designed to help people to adjust to living with aphasia. We help our members to develop strategies for communicating, maximise abilities and provide help and support for partners, carers and other family members.

Opening times

We are open from 9.00am to 2.30pm Monday to Thursday. We have an answerphone.

Access

We run face to face in Leatherhead and Kingston in accessible community spaces as well as online groups.

We have no specified catchment area and welcome enquiries

Target group

We can support people with aphasia and those with Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA)

Referral method

Informal enquiries can be made by email or telephone. Alternatively there is a referral form available on our website which can be downloaded. Assessment is carried out to establish whether an individual might benefit from Dyscover.
