About
Crossroads Care Easington District is a specialist voluntary organisation committed to providing practical support to carers in their own home by taking over their care responsibilities, helping them make a life outside of caring. We are a member of the Crossroads Care Association, working within a national framework of policies and procedures and internal quality assurance programme.
Crossroads Care Easington District provides flexible services to adults of all ages and with a range of disabilities and health conditions. This service is provided by care support workers who understand the needs and requirements of the famillies they work with. They are supervised, supported and trained to work with a wide range of disabilities and illnesses.
Crossroads Care Easington District respects the individuality of carers and those with care needs and seeks to promote their choice, independence, dignity and safety. We work with the carer and the person they care for to ensure that the service is provided according to their needs and desired outcomes. Our service strives to be responsive to the changing needs of carers and the people they support, offering them peace of mind and understanding. We want every carer to be recognised, supported and offered services to help them maintain their health and wellbeing.
