The NHS Health Check service is available at many GP Practices and in the community across Buckinghamshire.
Referral method
If you are 40-74 years old and registered with a GP you should receive an invitation for a free NHS Health Checks every 5 years. You can also ask your GP practice or contact Be Healthy Bucks to book an NHS Health Check
Description of service
The NHS Health Check is a simple check of your heart health. Aimed at adults in England aged 40 to 74, it checks your vascular or circulatory health and works out your risk of developing some of the most disabling – but preventable – illnesses. It is free of charge, including any follow-up tests or appointments.
