Breakout is a specialist young person's substance misuse service covering Derby City offering confidential treatment and support for young people under 18 years of age. We can offer 1 to 1 appointments at a time and place that is suitable and safe for you.
What we offer .
- Brief harm reduction advice and information
- 1-1 Treatment interventions (including substitute medication for detox) and support
- Relapse Prevention support
- Targeted group work with vulnerable groups of young people
- Training on drug and alcohol awareness for professionals working with young people
- Support for families/carers and professionals
- Onward referral to other services for support to meet wider needs
- Support to transition to Adult services when needed
We will do a holistic assessment of your needs and goals jointly with you to develop an individual care plan to best meet your needs after you are referred to us.
Breakout can see you at your local area such as youth centres or schools and we offer flexible times to suit you.

Young people under 18 can self refer on any aspect of drug or alcohol misuse, or can ask a parent/carer or other professional to make contact on their behalf
