Further information

FAMILY ROOMThis relaxing and comfortable room allows families to take their breaks and enjoy drinks and refreshments from the fully equipped kitchen. Baby-changing and toilet facilities are provided for families’ private use. QUIET AND EXPLORATORY ROOMSMinimally decorated to reduce visual distraction, the quiet room is used for assessing cognitive abilities of children with attention related problems. By using the fun experience of ‘exploratory play’, staff can carry out structured assessments of tactile abilities with children who may have sensory problems, attention difficulties and/or very poor hand function skills. SENSORY ROOMThe sensory room allows children to explore their different senses whilst interacting with the different objects/equipment. THERAPY ROOMFully equipped to support a range of developmental programmes depending on the needs of each child. Programmes provide children with a set of exercises to improve co-ordination, balance, posture and self awareness, as well as providing physiological benefits. Each Programme aims to achieve developmental milestones and task-specific functional activities through handling and active exercises.
