About

Every eight hours, someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. Aspire is a national charity that helps those who have been injured, providing the practical support they need in their return to independence. The services we offer include a network of houses that can be used by people newly discharged from hospital, grants to help with the purchase of essential items, training in the use of specialist computer equipment and advice, guidance and support to those with spinal cord injuries. The charity also campaigns for change to improve public policy and practice and is a leading provider of inclusive sport and fitness through the groundbreaking Aspire National Training Centre.

Aspire services operate both from their head office, and from within NHS Spinal Injury Centres.
