About
Age UK Hythe, Lyminge and Ashford is a long-established independent charity of some 50 years standing which has community at the heart of what it does. It is dedicated to supporting older people to live well, independently, and with dignity in later life. Its main aim is to improve health, wellbeing and quality of life of people aged 50+ across Hythe, Lyminge, Ashford and surrounding areas, particularly those who are vulnerable, isolated or living on low incomes. Through its services, including community meal deliveries (meals of wheels), day services, information and advice, dementia support, independent living services (in-home help), social groups and community hubs, older people can expect practical help, social opportunities and trusted advice.
We run two Community Hubs, one in Hythe (Age UK Hythe & Lyminge, Hythe Community Support Hub, Sanford House, Stade Street, Hythe, Kent CT21 6BD - Head Office) and one in Ashford (Age UK Ashford, Ashford Community Support Hub, Farrow Court, Stanhope Road, Ashford, Kent TN23 5RF).
