About

Age Concern Bracknell Forest (ACBF) is a registered charity funded by the organisations and people of Bracknell Forest and working exclusively to benefit older people in this borough.

It was formed in 1972 as part of the Age Concern federation of local charities. ACBF works in partnership with Local Authorities, statutory bodies and other voluntary organisations to:

• help to make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience

• ensure comfort and security for older people

• provide advice and support to families and carers

We are a "Friend of Age UK Berkshire", whereby Age UK provides free information and guidance to help us to work solely for the benefit of residents of Bracknell Forest. Age UK's work at national level, includes campaigns and products to benefit older people.
