Help and guidance for urinary and/or faecal continence problems in adults. (Not an emergency service. Not a pad service).

The Service provides: Clinic appointments or home visits to patients who are housebound, a continence assessment, a full medical and social assessment which can include: Flow rate for men with prostate problems, Bladder Scan, Clinical examination, Advice, treatment and management as appropriate.

The Service also provides: Education sessions for all involved in the management of people with continence problems, via Hertfordshire wide health training department.

Opening times

Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm

Access

Suitable access for all disabled patients

Catchment area

This service is only available for patients who are living within Hertfordshire or registered with a GP within Hertfordshire.

Target group

The Service covers all residents with a Hertfordshire GP

Referral method

Professional Referral Only. The Adult Bladder and Bowel Care Service does not accept self referrals. Referrals can be made by GP, District Nurse or other Healthcare Professional.
