  1. Review titled Bolton Service Deals With Underweight Patients Only

Rated 1 star out of 5

The Bolton Eating Disorder Service which is run by the Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust does not cater for those who have eating disorders other than anorexia or who are underweight. Yet their website says differently, it clearly says they will take referrals from anyone over 18 at the time of referral, so perhaps this needs to be updated as so not to waste the time of those asking for referrals. My own referral was again denied, because I am not underweight, this discriminates against others who have eating disorders. I am a diabetic on insulin, which makes me a complex case, and still my referral was rejected.

  2. Review titled Fractured care

Rated 1 star out of 5

I would give 0 stars if I could. My vulnerable 17 year old with learning disabilities and autism has had the misfortune to be bounced around the outside of various services hosted by this organisation only to finally get in to be told to self-refer to another part of the organisation which turned out to be inappropriate. As someone with extending experience at a senior level in both provider and commissioning NHS organisations this is the worst example of "joined up care" I have seen. Not fit for purpose.

  3. Review titled Home Treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have been under the Home Treatment Team a couple of times this year and just wanted to express how grateful I am for the support provided. Wherever possible they ensure you have the same practitioners visiting you, which is better for consistency and continuity of care at what is already a very difficult /stressful time They are a knowledgeable, kind and supportive team who are able to support you to get through crisis and into the next stage of recovery. The psychiatrist and pharmacist attached to the team are also excellent, being able to access this level of support in the community is invaluable. Any changes or tweaks to treatment plans happen quickly which helps speed up recovery. Thank you for all that you do

  4. Review titled Community Mental Health Team Macclesfield

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The Community Mental Health Team have provided an excellent service to me over the years I’ve had the same Psychiatrist and CPN for years, both of whom are collaborative, caring and informed. I’m very thankful to have continuity of care as I know many people across the country with bipolar do not have this. Although the service is clearly very stretched at times the duty workers are still responsive and supportive. The front office team deserve a mention too as they must receive so many calls but are always patient, friendly and kind I know they probably hear more often when things go wrong, which if they do - they have been honest and accountable in my experience I hope the team get chance to look after themselves too as it must be very challenging work
