I received a call back from a clinician after calling 111 and I got a call from someone from this surgery. Instead of help, I received completely unhelpful comments and her tone of voice was very rude and patronising towards me. Not a nice experience at all.

I used 111 online for the first time at 11.10am. Within 90 minutes I had had a call back from a clinician and treatment prescribed. What an excellent service, thank you very much.

Spoke to a doctor, they did not listen to any of my questions, refused answers and also told me that two other doctors I had spoken to and seen in person were wrong with a tonsillitis diagnosis for my 1 year old, instead telling me it’s viral. Also told me to stop giving antibiotics which through further investigation could have been harmful. Avoid this service

On 6th I was called from this number regarding a blood test I had earlier in the day .the time was 11.10pm .asked if I was taking medication and I need to contact my doctor first thing in the morning .I am 81 years old this call scared me and I was unable to sleep . Why were they calling me and not the surgery

Called 111 who deemed i shpuld speak to a out of hours within 2 hrs and potentially go a&e if i got worse etc, waited 4 hrs for a really rude dr tell me my syptoms were due to a panic attack (didnt know panic attcks lasted 12 hrs with only a brief period of worry) and that if i was worried about my iron levels to get them checked monday... not sure if anyone can get a blood test that quick the way things are currently.... i tried to get some sleep and woke after a hr feeling worse meaning a trip to a&e, if i had known what the dr was gonna be like id of gone a&e sooner rather than wait to almost keeling over, really not happy

I waited almost 24 hours for a callback from a doctor after contacting NHS 111 and being advised I would need to speak to a doctor. I understand the service is busy, but I think this is an unacceptable length of time to wait. The service could make use of other practitioners i.e. advanced nurse practitioners, advanced paramedic practitioners, and clinical pharmacists who can diagnose and prescribe medications as needed. The doctor I spoke to was quite patronising towards me like I didn't have a good understanding of my chronic illness and what symptoms may indicate a worsening of my condition.

Had to ring 111 on a Sunday afternoon as my symptoms worsened. By 9pm I had been seen by a doctor, and given all the medication I needed. This was without the need for a prescription. It took the doctor less than two minutes to provide me with everything I needed.
