I would like my previous review to be ignored as the matter has now been resolved thank you. Holderness Health have been extremely helpful and managed to help me with an appointment, for which I am eternally grateful…. Thank you 🙏

  2. Review titled So sad and Depressing

Rated 1 star out of 5

by June Harding - Posted on 27 May 2025

my caravan whilst on holiday…which ultimately required medical attention and stitches. I was advised that the stitches needed to be examined, possibly removed on Friday of this week. Rather than travel to Bransholme and wait for 4-6 hours, I contacted this hospital and asked if I could make an appointment to have them removed. They refused, on the following grounds:- I was not registered at a local surgery, even though it’s now not possible to register as a temporary resident. I explained that I was a widowed pensioner, with no family, and because of my injury I cannot drive, and can barely walk, so have to rely on friends. The response was “sorry these are the rules “ I have an NHS card and number. I am registered at a practice at my home address. I have always paid my Taxes… Either it’s the National Health Service or it’s not…. I now have a 40 minute journey, each way, courtesy of another elderly friend, a potential 4-6 hour wait, to be possibly told I have to go back, because the wound hasn’t healed sufficiently…. In conclusion, my overwhelming feeling is one of great sadness, as it is abundantly clear that I don’t matter, and the NHS doesn’t care….. I am not asking to be treated differently, just humanely…. So terribly sad….and incredibly depressing
