    From admission to discharge my care was outstanding; welcome reassurance from the anaesthetist, a skilled and kind surgeon, helpful nurses, supportive physiotherapists. And behind them an efficient theatre/recovery team and administration staff. Can't fault anything. Thank you.

    Following my previous complaint about my wife's uninformed last cancellation in October (which remains unresolved), she rang the hospital today to confirm today's appointment only to be told that they had no record of it despite her having an appointment card. The hospital phoned later to confirm that it had been cancelled for reasons unknown. No one had advised her accordingly. What is going on?

    I attended the urgent treatment centre yesterday and I couldn’t have asked for a better service all of the staff were so polite and helpful. The doctor I saw was lovely and had such a nice manner. Although I felt so poorly the experience I had, in comparison to other hospitals, made me feel much more at ease. Despite the pressure on our hospitals I only had around an hour wait which highlights the efficiency of the staff there. Thank you again and keep up our brilliant work it’s much appreciated!

    I attended on a Friday evening. We were in and out in half an hour having had an x-ray and been given treatment advice. Seen by a Nurse practitioner, who was kind, helpful and knowledgeable and dealt with us promptly. Couldn't have asked for better.

    What a super team! Everyone from nurses to anaesthetists to consultant were caring, professional & kind. They also managed a light-hearted atmosphere which felt stress free from the patient’s perspective. Full marks!

    We arrived today for my wife's pre-arranged appointment only to be told that it had been cancelled by the consultant without prior notification to ourselves. A wasted journey and time.

    I was treated at Wandsbeck for a dinner fork fracture after falling while out walking. It was the first day of our holiday and after being taken there by a fabulous ambulance crew, I was treated almost immediately. I was in a lot of pain and everyone there couldn’t have looked after me any better. Absolutely fantastic thank you so very much.
