This was my first time at The Park as a day case patient. Firstly I would like to thank every member of staff who looked after me and interacted with me on my journey down to the operating theatre and to my consultant. The ward staff were fantastic, caring, professional and friendly. Everything was explained and I was relaxed and calm before and after my procedure. I must say I have never seen a cleaner ward or hospital and the food I chose from a lovely menu was made fresh for me and was delicious. Now please note this is not in any way a bad reflection on Nottingham’s other hospitals, I have been and still am a patient in their care and I have been treated and looked after very well. Thank you so much to the ward staff who looked after me.

I would like to thank every single member of staff that i came across in my two day stay whilst having a knee replacement .I have never seen such a dedicated group of people as i found in the Park hospital. The hospital was so clean and the food was amazing., my knee is almost recovered now. Thank you all once again for everything

I am a self paying patient. The hospital and staff are still great can not fault them I saw a consultant who told me I was to have the nerves in my hand checked I did and was ask there and then for payment in cash not card so we at to drive to cash machine to get the money out and take it back to him , I have recently had a small operation on my wrist I told to be in the hospital for 7 in morning. On arrival I was taken to my room for the day were I waited from 7-30 almost six hours in extreme pain before I was taken to theatre for a 40 minutes operation I do believe if I had not complained to who I think was the ward sister I would have waited a lot longer I understand there are a lot of NHS patience being treated in park hospital now but to after wait that long in extreme pain and paying for private treatment was disgusting.

On Arrival at the Park hospital today the greeting was very pleasant, i was booked in and taken to the right department very efficiently and calmingly. Once in the private room it was not long before i was given details of the procedure that was to follow. Everyone involved were very thorough crossing the T’s and dotting the I’s in a reassuring way. It was not long before going to the op room where once again the team where excellent The examination and procedure I required was over in no time at all with very little discomfort (don’t know why i was worried about a camera in the privates). Quickly moved on to the recovery room the staff nurse monitoring me was faultless and very informative. Before i knew it i was being discharged. I hope i don’t have to return but if i do will be more than happy to. A big thanks and two thumbs up to all involved.

Given excellent support and advicr by physio department over a 6 month period. Staff always helpful with my concerns. Shown many exercises to aid my recovery

accompanied elderly father for a general Gp consultation after many failed attempts at getting my 90 yr old father seen by his own Gp we were met at the door with a wheel chair, seen straight away, received a thorough unrushed examination, from a excellent experienced dr who took time to explain everything. excellent experience from start to finish.

I had an operation yesterday and this was my third visit to The Park Hospital. I arrived at reception and was greeted by a lovely group of reception staff. One of them booked me in and was walking me up to my room to be admitted. When we arrived on the ward there were 4 members of staff standing behind the desk looking at my notes and trying to pronounce my name and then laughing about it. It was repeated 3 times and even my mother overheard it. I was already feeling anxious about my surgery and this left me feeling really deflated and upset. There was just no need and my name is very easy to pronounce if you are literate. Apart from the 4 members of staff laughing about my name all the other members of the team were lovely and very accommodating. A sad experience on my part as it did ruin my day. I would like an apology as nobody should have to go through that especially with patients walking around and being able to hear conversations that are about them.

I had a total hip replacement in November and have just completed the final physio session. The whole experience from meeting and discussing my issues and addressing my concerns with the Consultant, through to the operation, the excellent care from the nursing staff, and the porters too, all contributed to making my stay a fantastic experience as well as a comfortable one. The post operative care was also second to none, and I now know the physio sessions are just as important as the operation itself, and helped enormously in my return to normality. Thank you and well done to the whole team, including the reception staff who are a credit to the hospital.

For the second time in a year my Hip Replacement Surgery has been cancelled, should have been carried out in September 2021, but was cancelled days before. Rescheduled in June for 18th July, cancelled again yesterday, is it because I am a NHS Patient. Or does the Park only want no complication, straight forward operations.

I went to The Park hospital last month for a total hip replacement. What a wonderful experience I had. From walking into reception until being helped into my car on leaving, every single member of staff, from every single department doing every role were warm, friendly, courteous, professional and an absolute pleasure to meet. Going to hospital can be an anxious time but I would go there again without hesitation. You should all be very proud of your wonderful hospital, it must be a pleasure to work there because you all exude happiness and care. I am recovering fantastically well and can’t believe how well I am progressing every single day. I’ve had a 4 week check up with physio and they’re delighted with my progress.
