I was very nervous regarding my full hip replacement I received excellent care everyone at the horder centre was so kind everything was explained to me I am doing extremely well no pain a miracle every day gets a little better I am a dancer I love walking and to be able to resume these when recovered is just amazing I thank everyone for giving me my life back

Words cannot express the gratitude I have for everyone at The Horder Centre during my knee replacement. What an amazing team they have from the receptionist to the surgeons who made me feel so welcome and definitely put my nerves at ease. All the staff had smiles on their faces especially the nurses, doctors, physios, and all who took part in my hospital stay. I went from feeling nervous to calm which helped me through every part of my stay. I had a really nice private room with all the comforts I needed including nice food. Thank you everyone again including my surgeon and all theatre staff for taking my pain away and making me a new woman. Thank you. Thank you.

From the time I arrived until I left, I was treated with respect, care and kindness. The surgeon for my Total Hip Replacement along with his team were excellent, respecting my wishes as were the nursing staff and physio team. I cannot fault this hospital. I would highly recommend it for hip surgery.

I went for an MRI in January. I was advised to arrive 10 mins before my appointment. I was pleased to find a parking place as less of spaces is always stressful in Pembury and Maidstone hospitals. I went to the entrance as requested and was welcomed by a very warm helpful receptionist who rang to the right department for me and informed me that I could go to the department immediately. I was met with two young men who introduced themselves ns explained the procedure. I did not have tp remove my clothing (except my underwired bra) which surprised me as I have had several MRIs and always had to undress. I had the prcedure and was on my way home within 30 minutes of arrival. The best experience of a hospital I have ever had and I have been to a lot of hospitals in my 87 years! Thank you. Brilliant.

On two occasions in the past six months I have been in The Horder Centre for complete knee replacement surgery and would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at The Horder for first class service and care.

In the past year I have had both my knee joints replaced at The Horder Centre. What a success! On both occasions, the process ran like clockwork. At all times I felt that the staff were very professional and, from the start, they were reassuring and put me at my ease. The process and risks were well explained and, by the time it came to the procedure itself, I felt very confident of a positive outcome. The skilled surgical team and the professional and very caring support of the nursing team ensured that pain was kept to a minimum, which aided a swift initial recovery and ensured no nasty surprises for me after I left the hospital. I am now six weeks on from the second operation, continuing with the prescribed rehabilitation exercises and walking unaided. All praise to everybody involved at The Horder for ensuring such a positive outcome. Thank you so much.

The whole experience from walking through to reception to departing approx 2 days 4 hours later for my hip replacement could not have been better. Every single member of staff who I came across, medical or otherwise, all seemed interested in my procedure, recovery and general well-being. I could not recommend The Horder highly enough. Quite superb.

I had a second left knee replacement in January 2023. My right knee was replaced nine years ago at the Horder centre. I had a wonderful experience...great consultant and anesthetist who went through everything with me. I am now back at the gym and walking my dog with no pain. Thank you to the wonderful physio department and the excellent nurses on the ward. Continue your great work.

The two day stay for my hip replacement was very well organised from arrival until discharge. Each stage of the treatment was explained. All the staff were very professional, helpful and friendly, the food was very appetising as well. All in all I felt confident in coping with being at home and what to do to regain mobility.
