Yesterday I had surgery on my cataract at the Cherwell Hospital. What an amazing experience. From the moment I walked through the front door, to preparation for surgery, actual operation and after care I was looked after and put at my ease. Could not fault the whole process. The whole team should be congratulated. They are amazing. Even got a follow up call today to check all was okay. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Cherwell ophthalmic department .

I had cataract surgery yesterday and I am feeling great! I can see clearly and colours are so vibrant. I've not had great sight for 3 and a half years so now I am so very happy. All the staff were very friendly, professional and efficient.

Carpal tunnel surgery - shorter wait than expected, kept fully informed all the way, by nurses and surgeon, all staff friendly and helpful, in and out in 4 hours, recovery going well after 3 weeks. One small criticism - one assumes hospitals are warm! I understand the reason for the chilliness, but advice to bring a warmer dressing gown would have been helpful!

I can’t thank the whole team at The Cherwell hospital enough for the excellent service I received during making my recent stay for a hip replacement. From the moment I arrived on the ward the staff were attentive and caring and helped to allay my anxiety about surgery. The anaesthetist was lovely and reassuring whilst he and the theatre nurse even made me laugh before the procedure! Thank you to the nurses back on the ward, and the physiotherapist who looked after me, all with patience and good humour.

A very friendly atmosphere and the staff are lovely and caring. I was treated with dignity. My room was spotlessly clean and I had a nice view of trees. The food was very good. In the past I have been a private patient and this experience was no difference at all. Very impressed!
