Had to visit basildon a&e on Wednesday 13th Saw a orthopedic surgeon who requested a urgent mri scan got a phone call next day got a appointment at chartwell hospital on 20th December, arrived at the hospital at 8.05am my appointment was at 9am receptionist was very helpful got down to the mri scan at 8.10am had to fill out a questionnaire then got taken in for my scan as I was in alot of pain with my back the person who done my scan helped me lay down and at the end was very helpful in getting me back up can not fault the service very helpful staff

Pandemics over but refuses to do procedure if test isn't taken. Draconian policy. Coercive policy. If no symptoms we should have the freedom to choose this test without being told 'no' to being seen

Went today for my first ever colonoscopy staff were friendly and very helpful putting me at ease straight away a polyps was found and removed with no pain what so ever then coffee and biscuits good service thank you

I recently had a colonoscopy and as it was my first time for such a procedure, I was somewhat apprehensive, however, everyone involved at the hospital were extremely professional and put me at my ease. Each stage was carefully explained and I felt that I was in good hands throughout the whole process.

All the staff were really friendly & welcoming. I was explained exactly what was going to happen by the nurse & the doctor doing the procedure. Whilst the procedure was being done (which is a very unpleasant procedure) the nurses & doctor were very reassuring & comforting. My mum was able to wait for me in the waiting room which was lovely. Thank you to all who looked after me.

After going through the discomfort of taking the laxative solution and having a sleepless night in the toilet. 2 hours before my procedure I got a phone call from them saying they had to cancel due to not having the equipment. This call was at 12.30pm. I had even spoken to them that morning and nothing was mentioned. Very disappointed with being treated like this.

Chartwell hospital in Leigh on sea. Staff were really lovely and sensitive to my needs. However consultant was very blunt (i dont mind that) but decided that my surname was awful and proceeded to make rude comments. Not very professional when I was there for a procedure

I was terrified and dreading a colonoscopy and the result, but I was treated exceptionally well at all times. everyone made me feel so supported and comfortable putting me at ease. From the initial booking staff, receptionists, nursing staff and Doctor. I cannot find a fault with The Chartwell Hospital or it’s staff. Appreciated a clear covid test was still asked for. I would recommend this hospital without any hesitation.
