Our father was booked in for a scheduled hip operation on Friday 15th March 2024. The care and support he received right across the board, from Nurses, Doctors, Physiotherapists & Domestic staff was second to none. The professional, yet friendly approach, displayed by the nursing staff made for a stress free stay. As a family, we would like to say a huge thank you for looking after our father and commend you all for the high quality and level of care he received.

I like to say a very big thank you to the two nurses on duty in the CT department on Thursday morning week ending 08/03/24 they both showed dedication & true professional experience & courtesy. The two nurses were completely superb even taking the time to reassure me in every way. Also the doctor on duty during my treatment was excellent, taking the time to explain his findings after the procedure was completed. Thank you all once again.

Had a Urology procedure at Beardwood hospital last Tuesday,I can’t thank the consultant and nursing staff enough they were all very professional and caring,I had to stay in for one night and the nursing staff here are amazing ,also the private rooms. I would highly recommend Beardwood for any medical procedure Thanks

Two appointments in which I had to leave because of excessive waiting times for elective minor surgery. Appointment revised twice on the 28/2/24 and when I arrive cannot be given any kind of a time frame as to when I could receive treatment. A nurse dropped a glove on the floor when removing it from the dispenser and pushed it back into the machine. Overall a very disappointing hospital that I would definitely not recommend, a private hospital that offers a far worse service than any NHS hospital that I have ever visited. The demeanor of the medical professionals leave a great deal to be desired. 0/10 rating.

Just want to share my experience with Beardwood. Went in on Friday for a total knee replacement. Just want to thank all staff from the receptionist the porters the theatre staff the nurses the catering staff physio and the cleaning staff. You all made my stay very welcoming and comfortable. Thank you all for your help and support during my stay.

Beardwood hospital service dissatisfied. Sudden Hearing loss. Doctor advised urgent ENT attention. Consultants good so far. Additional tests would be arranged. But..Outpatients appointment arrangements by dysfunctional/hopeless reception. Beardwood claim fast treatment on their website, for paying patients….should be days, but not true, ditto Bupa, more like weeks, even months for paying patient. Bupa members no priority, join the queue…as told by Beardwood ENT consultant. Reception fail to make appointments, fail to call back, thereby add weeks to treatment schedule. Need Beardwood details of incompetence, reception names? ask me. I wish I had gone to a different hospital than Bupa recommended. NHS must be better than paying for this poor treatment.

Absolutely fantastic service from all members of the medical team from being admitted to discharged. Very friendly, polite and explained everything from start to end. Very clean and tidy. Would recommend the hospital.

Very nervous about having hip replacement surgery, the staff were fantastic from the Porter to the Kitchen staff to the Nurses Anesthetist and of course the Surgeon I wouldn't want to go anywhere else for my next hip.

I have seen a urologist and came back home and called the hospital again to speak with doctor secretary but my request was denied and phone was cut off . And after making couple of more calls was called old that I will get a call back . They booked me for another appointment and before that my review was sent to me and discharged me . Very poor customer service by the staff .

: I attended day case for a carpal tunnel release procedure. Was given a discharge letter with special requirements which where all to be done by myself no follow up or aftercare at all. After following the advice and removing my bandage, I discovered the dressing full of blood. I contacted the number on the discharge letter only to be put through to a number of departments! Finally got to speak to someone in the treatment room. I was advised to come to see them there and then. The ladies there senior health care assistants was a breath of fresh air and a credit to the hospital. They fixed me up and answered all my concerns, the also pointed out my stitches would need removing where I’d been told they would dissolve!!! It’s not only the care whilst having a procedure it’s the aftercare given as well. Extremely disappointed at the aftercare or none that I have received apart from the lovely ladies in the treatment room.
