On the day in question my wife had an appointment at the Sulis hospital. Unfortunately while we were there I suffered a very bad bout of food poisoning resulting in acute diarrhoea and incontinence. The staff were extremely helpful and very professional in their care and support of me, providing replacement clothing and health care. I was given access to a quiet room in the In-Patient ward where the team monitored my stats, especially as I am a Type 1 diabetic. The facilities were akin to a five star hotel rather than a hospital. My wife and I cannot thank the staff enough for their excellent treatment and thought fullness. Thankyou all once again.

I needed a hip replacement and on the NHS I was warned it would be at least another year, I contacted Sulis and was sorted within 8 weeks. From consultation, to pre-op to surgery everyone I encountered was professional, friendly and super helpful. I had a bad experience previously with sedation and after explaining this the the anaesthetist he left me feeling reassured, come the surgery he was true to his word, I was made comfortable and looked after amazingly. The food is phenomenal compared to my experience in Derriford Hospital (3 days waiting for surgery for ruptured appendix to be offered a sandwich after the operation). This is my second surgery here and if I could afford fully private healthcare I would have this as my preferred hospital.

I was admitted to the Gynaecology day unit last week, I was nervous and worried but the staff are friendly and very caring and make sure that you are well looked after. The nurses who looked after me were amazing and after my operation they made sure I had something to eat and drink and even had time for a lovely chat. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff at this hospital, absolutely amazing experience.

From the moment I was admitted for a hip replacement operation un til the next day when I was discharged I felt extremely fortunate to be under the care of the Sulis Hospital staff. I would thoroughly recommend this hospital to anyone who is considering choosing to have treatment, it is first class.

Very rude unwelcoming receptionist had the wrong name down for me and made me feel like I was some sort of imposter when I asked for my name to be corrected Consultant was disinterested spent less time with him than it took me to check in Awful tatty decor feels like a hospital within a coffee shop

I was referred to the Sulis Hospital by my GP on 8th March 2024, and was immediately offered an appointment to see a Consultant on 4th April. Having confirmed the need for the operation, I received a pre-op assessment on 16th April, and the procedure was carried out on 10th May. Following an overnight stay in he hospital I was discharged the following day, and on 21st June was seen by a physio therapist who confirmed that all was well.

I had a spinal injection 11/4/24. The procedure from start to finish, was very professional, and all the staff were so helpful and friendly, and I would highly recommend it to anyone, and as an nhs patient I cannot praise it highly enough. Many thanks to everyone.

The care that I received from the hospital staff eg surgeon anaesthetist nurses was first class from admission to discharge I highly recommend the services from this hospital facility

Everyone treated me with respect and care and were professional in all aspects. Every procedure and treatment was thoroughly explained to me. Everything was done to make me feel at ease. Marvelous staff. I thank them all.

Thus hospital has gone downhill since it was taken over by the Royal United Lots of little things that I never experienced on previous stays. The admin here has never been good, but I definitely think we have the left hand not knowing what the right is doing!! I had an operation eleven days ago, I was told before and after the op that I would have dissolvable stitches. This was also mentioned on the discharge letter. Just took the dressing off and I have staples!! Now have the hassle of making arrangements . Not happy .
