Review titled Outstanding service (Rose Centre)
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Mariela Maldonado Andrade - Posted on 27 April 2025
I recently attended a breast check appointment at the Rose Centre, St George’s Hospital, and I want to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional care I received. Although I felt quite anxious beforehand, the service provided exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, every member of staff (from the Reception team to the nurses and the Breast Surgeon who carried out the final assessment) was professional, compassionate, and attentive. Their calm and reassuring manner helped ease my nerves in a natural and respectful way, and I felt truly cared for throughout the entire process. The facilities were excellent, and the whole system was clearly well organised and efficiently run. I particularly appreciated being able to complete all four stages of the assessment during the same visit. Receiving a clear and evidence-based outcome before leaving the centre brought immense relief and avoided the added stress of multiple appointments. I’m incredibly thankful to the team who looked after me during my visit on Friday 25 April 2025, between 3–5pm. Your kindness and professionalism made a real difference, and I wanted to acknowledge the outstanding service you provided.

Review titled Meaningless appointment letter
Rated 1 star out of 5
by James Palin - Posted on 21 February 2025
We just received an appointment letter for St George’s Audiology dept with absolutely no detail about what the appointment is for and no useful contact details. Easy to see why people don’t turn up for appointments if they don’t know what they are for.

I want to give a big shout-out to the dermatology team and nurses, I have immense respect for them and the work they do every day to treat various skin conditions. Throughout the entire surgical process, I felt exceptionally well cared for. Their professionalism, combined with a human touch, made a significant difference. Thank you!

Review titled Hit and miss standard of care
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Joseph - Posted on 18 September 2024
The standard of care from the midwifery team in the Gwillim Ward was very hit and miss. Some of the team were fantastic, whereas others were rude, unhelpful, disinterested and delivered a poor level of care. Would not return for subsequent births.

Tried to change my appointment, waited 58 minutes, got through but was immediately cut off. When I rang back I was told I was 17th in the queue and the wait would be 45 minutes (but I assume another hour or so!) Appointment for MRI, phoning number 0208 725 3037

Review titled Packed sardines in patient transport.
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Abbie pearson - Posted on 03 September 2024
Sat in a patient transport like a can of sardines this is a joke what if a fire was to break out nobody is allowed to use the side door the gangway is blocked by a chair user and behind her is two walking frames the poor driver is trying his best to sort it out but seriously something has to sorted before an accident happens it really isnt safe at all for any of us and no matter what the driver is saying his co-worker is saying to put more of the walking frames in the front next to him so i stated so what if the driver had a car crash into him on his side he would then have to climb over frames to get us out then go to the back of the van to then get others out because the side door is no longer able to be used.
