The therapist is beyond excellent in my view. However, the written direction to the department is extremely confusing and not good, especially for someone on a first visit. 1. The direction in the letter from entrance from St Ann's Rd. to block C is excellent. Written direction in the letter is in line with the hospital guide in situ. Inso, it was easy to get to block C. However, the complexity took place once in block C as no further guidance was given. If you miss 'MSK/Physiotherapy block, which was embolden, you are absolutely lost. Inso, I do believe the directional guidance must be changed to be much clearer for the new attendee. For instance:- On enteringing block C, take a right whilst in the corridor and enter the double doors directly ahead of you. Once through these doors, to your right will be the MSK Physiotherapy department. Enter through this door, walk a short way along the corridor, and to your right will be the general office / waiting room. Unfortunately, I did not know this on my first visit and went to the enquiry window in the main corridor of block C. I gave my appointment letter to the very heavy set young white man on duty and he re- directed me back out of this block and to block B. Which obviously was incorrect. It was the good grace of two young females who told me I was given incorrect direction. This block is for "mental health inpatients' only. Ungortunately, due to this confusion I was, hence, late and by the time I painfully hobbled back on my elbow crutches, the therapist was awaiting me in the main office. I thus do believe you need to change the directional guidance you have in the letter, in addition to maybe having guide notice placed in the main entry hall and the door to the MSK section.
