Just want to say a massive thank you to all staff that was on shift last night. I went with my daughter who was in a very bad shape because of a chest infection. I couldn't belive how fast they reacted and how well we've been treated. As soon as they sow her condition they took her in. They just left me to register her with the receptionist. The nursses that helpt us were amaizing and also the doctor. I never had a more plesant experience in hospital as this one! Thank you for your support. My little one is ok now thanks to you.

  3. Review titled Incredible support

Ward 2 Planned Investigation Unit 16/11/24 The woman with brown hair and helped with my first tablets was absolutely incredible. She explained everything in great detail. She didn’t belittle us, she made us feel so comfortable, I felt very scared and vulnerable at times during the day but she made me feel human again. My partner came to the unit with me this day and we kept saying to each other how glad we were that we had her as our main nurse. We don’t have a single negative comment about our experience with her. If it was our choice we would give her Christmas and new years off *hint hint and wink wink* Thanks again, we won’t ever forget you. Kind regards for the future.

Excellent service. However, the left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing! No wonder the NHS is in tatters. The staff cannot ne faulted, there dedication is faultless. The Nurses today were unreal in there service, they need Medals! The lady registrar was brilliant though difficult to understand, 99% fantastic

  8. Review titled A&E and Disney ward, thank you!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My son was rushed in with suspected appendicitis on Thursday. The staff were really lovely, helpful and reassuring at the a&e department. Short wait times and put us in our own room so my son could be a lot more comfortable as he need to lay down. He ended up needing surgery, and had to spend the night at Disney ward. Staff really lovely and caring, my son was reassured at all time and they took their time to explain things to him he suffers terrible with anxiety but they put him at ease. Food was good, nothing was too much trouble for them. First time I’ve had to visit Scunthorpe hospital. After this experience I think it will be now be my go to hospital with my kids.

  9. Review titled Not My Job!! WÈa

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Not My Job! - Posted on 28 December 2024

What can I say. My mother was in hospital, I visited her having driven some 500miles. When discussing her care, she asked that I update the nurses with my contact details being next of kin. I visited the nurses station within the ward, asked the nurses sitting “one of whom playing with their mobile phone” if they’d like to take the contact details for myself. They refused citing it is the job of the nurses allocated to my mother who would be available after she came back from lunch! I left my number written on a tissue! Forgive me for saying but I wasn’t asking for a medical update, just one of the two “educated” professionals to write down an eleven digit number and my name! But alas it wasn’t their job!
