  1. Review titled Stopped from leaving an honest review

Rated 1 star out of 5

doesn't allow for honest reviews of this service. I had a 10 minute appointment with the consultant. Scans show inflammation in all joints of hands and some in left foot. Told I'll probably have rheumatoid in the future. Didn't know I was to take pics of swellings for my one brief appointment. The clinic was clean, nurse on phone was rude. Completely misdiagnosed as I was unable to speak to the doctor regarding my other symptoms. Rheumatoid factor at 90, told it'd gone down considerably to 86. In immense pain and now nothing I can do as I was wrongly discharged without treatment

  2. Review titled Uncaring and unprofessional

by Anonymous - Posted on 22 April 2025

So I came to visit July last year. I had a 10 minute face to face appointment where I was bombarded with questions. Asked if I had photos? I was completely unprepared for this appointment. I had scans of my hands and feet first where synovial thickening was found at near enough each joint on both hands and severe on my left foot. I then had MRIs on hips and back where I have a condition that isn't well studied in my bones. I got told my rheumatoid factor went down considerably from 90 to 86! I've been treated like I'm making it up. I have high glucose levels (again linked to rheumatoid) told it doesn't develop in the hips when clearly it does! I went for a bone scan and then received a short abrupt message saying it's not inflammatory arthritis so I'm discharged I'm disgusted!I will be requesting the results of this scan from my GP as now I have no trust in this doctor.I might add that the 1 phonecall I had with this "so called" consultant she said I'll probably develop rheumatoid arthritis in the future!!!! After seeing the crippling effects of this disease with my late father and adding up my symptoms... fatigue, crippling joint pain, high rheumatoid factor etc etc it's just a complete mess of a misdiagnosis! I called to ask about the bone scan I waited over a year for and even the receptionist here was rude, I was treated like a criminal! I just want treatment, I have all the signs and now have the proof from my CT scans etc to go back to my gp and ask for a second opinion at a different hospital. Very poor for communication with patient and saying I'll probably develop it in the future??? Absolutely disgusted. Surely if that's the case I should have treatment before I end up crippled? I'm so confused and not a chance of an actual discussion regarding this just discharged how unprofessional!I just want to get back into work although id not attend this clinic in the future now as I'm confused and in constant pain. I genuinely love our NHS but just not this clinic.

  3. Review titled Exhausting

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I was referred onto a ward at Rochdale on Thursday night. I am writing this review on Saturday evening and have only been seen to by a doctor once. I have been told that I am infectious yet no one has changed my bedding the the duration of my stay here. It took two days for a nurse to change my cannulae dressing even with persistent asking as it was peeling off and irritating my exma and when I asked if I could shower I got told I should strip was in my room to which I refused because I hadn’t showered In about a week due to feeling so unwell at home etc. Overall my stay here so far has been really unpleasant n I’ve almost had to beg for the attention of nurses whilst not seeing a doctor so have no idea what is happening in regards to me health care plan.

  4. Review titled Kind and caring

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The staff here listened carefully and treated my sister with kindness and professional care. Whilst waiting we were kept clearly informed about the reasons there may be a delay or why someone may be treated before my sister. The doctor’s care was thorough and kindly. The nurse in the treatment room went way beyond expectations even bringing ginger biscuits because she knew ginger was an antidote to sickness.

  6. Review titled Recent experience in the Endoscopy Unit

by Jantina - Posted on 24 January 2024

Attended for a procedure as an outpatient in the Endosopy Unit, was informed that I was in fact having two procedures, which was a bit of surprise to me (minor glitch in communication, but not a huge problem). The staff from reception throughout the journey to recovery were lovely. Warm and friendly, reassuring and professional. A true reflection of the majority of NHS services and a stark reminder of how lucky we are to have this fabulous organisation free at the point of entry.
