  1. Review titled Poor administration of service

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 28 January 2024

clinicians and admin staff all pleasant although I think some extra training on how to deal with patients with dementia would be useful. The administration around appointments is appalling. In order to try and check/change my mothers appointment time I had to call 4 different numbers I was given after calling the number on the appointment letter and being told that they couldn't deal with it. The appt time for my mother had been changed twice and there were two different appt times which it turned out were the wrong way around the doctors appt being before the eye testing one!! In order to finally confirm I had to insist on speaking to one of the managers which is a real waste of her time but having spent hours on the phone and going around in circles with people on phone saying they have already fed back this is an issue..... I really don't see why a number can't be dedicated to this particular clinic with times that number would be manned being put on the letter this would save a lot of patient anxiety and time and a lot of NHS resource time.

  2. Review titled Awful place with no reception or answers

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Daniel Cox - Posted on 12 March 2024

Lost my surgery appointment. Rung reception over ten times and never get an answer. Still no one can give me an answer and they cannot give me an answer. I just want my surgery but no one will talk to me. Worst experience I have ever had in my life with a service.

Recently my wife had a colonoscopy at your hospital. All the staff were excellent; she was kept well informed throughout and her procedure explained fully; all the staff were reassuring and professional she could not ask for better treatment; what a wonderful clinic, doing a brilliant job.”

  6. Review titled Fantastic service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Referred by NHS 111 (their system was down!) on Sunday afternoon (33 degree heat) with a sick child. Efficient reception and wonderful patient centered clinical service. She had her first dose of antibiotics about 3 hours after starting to deteriorate. Can't thank you enough!

  7. Review titled Very helpful

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The review with specialist audiology was extremely helpful with future life decisions. I was allotted a good amount of time and many tests were done. I have recommended this service to a neighbour who also suffers from dizziness.

  8. Review titled The phone number given in the letter may be wrong

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 July 2022

To flag in case there is a problem. When you are given a Cardiology appointment by letter, the number it gives you to call if the date given is not possible does not get answered. It either rings, then cuts out, or does not even connect, or else it is engaged. If you try via the main switchboard, you get put through, but it rings and rings, and no-one at switchboard gets back to you. There is no call queuing.

  9. Review titled Absolutely awful

Rated 1 star out of 5

Daughter came to your plastic department months ago. A referral was made to St George's we were told to wait. I called St Georges to see the process and wait. Absolutely no referal was made . I have been been pushed around to different department. An appointment was made to George's before all this and they didn't sent a referral. I had to do all the chasing. I am a full time carer for my daughter and I have ASD my self. This entire experience is exhausting and the nhs need ro know how awful this has been o. My self and mu daughter
