Tried to cancel appt as being treated elsewhere. Answer machines. No one gets back. Info given is not recorded and further unnecessary appts offered. Time scales for appts and treatment are unbelievable.

Review titled Site maps.
by Terra incognita - Posted on 04 October 2023
Your site maps are poor. I've just spent the last half hour in a fruitless search for ward 35 in the short stay unit. Can I find it? No. So now I'll have to find some poor soul to point me in the right direction. Fortunately most hospitals have several volunteers to do just that. But I still wanted to see for myself.

Review titled Excellent!
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Donna Brunt - Posted on 22 September 2023
I couldn’t fault the care given to me by staff in A&E at Kingsmill hospital. It was the first time I’d been to Kingsmill hospital and I was extremely worried but every single person I engaged with treated me with kindness and professionalism, from the receptionist, the triage nurse, the phlebotomist, the lady doing the ECGs, and the Primary care staff. Even though it was extremely busy and there was a major emergency at one point, every single person was lovely. Thank you so much! It makes such a difference. The streamline service was very impressive too!

Review titled Bad experience

Was in pain at 2.30 am phoned 111 they said they will send a ambulance out .then I got a call 10 minutes later asking if I could make my own way there because it could take up to six hour's for a ambulance to come even though they said there no delays on the ambulance coming. so I got a taxi got there at 11.30am sat there till 4.45pm there was 7 ambulance driver just sat there talking & eating food. I was sat there in pain given nothing for the pain even after my husband told them I was in alot of pain twice.people was coming in after me but they was getting seen before me .most of the staff was to busy standing around talking instead of dealing with the patient that really needed their help .I find this disgusting the way I was treated and left there for so long on pain

First time I've been to Kings Mill a&e and I was very pleasantly surprised with it. As soon as we walked in the door with my daughter everyone was helpful and friendly. From getting out ticket in the car park to paying we had been there exactly 30 minutes!! Reception, triage and treatment all excellent!! Thank you so much for what is never a wanted visit!

I was admitted to A&E by ambulance with an infection not only was I feeling very unwell and not and extremely worried about the infection which had been treated several times with antibiotics.unsuccessfully by my GP. On arrival I was reassured and was treated with courtesy and kindness by everyone I saw . Subsequently I used the Emergency Day Care Centre for follow up treatment and can not praise the staff enough for everything they did to make me feel better...Thank You

Review titled Thank you

Last week I saw my GP after finding a lump in my armpit. I was seen today in the breast clinic and cannot praise the team enough- from start to finish they were kind, sympathetic, friendly , professional and efficient. I cannot thank you enough for the excellent care and reassurance I received. You deserve far far more than every penny you are paid.

Review titled The care was excellent
by Nannycaz4 - Posted on 15 August 2023
I was transferred from Newark UTC to King's Mill as I needed an urgent CT scan. From the Triage/Streaming to discharge the care was excellent. After several bad experiences at my nearest A&E I vowed not to return unless I had no control on the matter. The inconvenience of a short drive was 100% worth it.
