Review titled Very Rude Reception and Disorganised
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 14 December 2022
I was booked in by 111 to be told at check in I shouldn’t be there … like I knew that … and that I will be sent away… this from the very rude receptionist who had judged me as a single mother… Then when I asked regarding the screen in reception she was very rude again for no reason!! The lady should not have a job on reception no empathy or understanding at all. I am horrified by how I was treated.

Review titled Unable to get a specialist appointment
by Jess 12 - Posted on 14 December 2022
Rugby Urgent Care Centre at the Hospital of St Cross. No doctor of nurse on duty who are able to prescribe so what is the point? The advice is to go to A&E st UHCW - they say there is only a 12 hour wait! Don’t seem to care at all that you can’t breath . If it cannot be staffed properly there is no point. Unable to get a specialist appointment at the hospital for 18 months, well my son won’t be in this world in 6 months! Feeling like I have nowhere to turn.

Review titled Blood taking department
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 01 November 2022
I attended the blood taking department on the 1st November morning . The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for me. The blood taking was the best I have had and I wasn’t sore afterwards. Would recommend going here for bloods. Thank you to all staff.

I’d like to thank the catering staff, cleaners, nurses, doctors and surgeons who looked after me with exceptional care. They went over and above to help me through a difficult time and I will be forever in their debt.

Review titled Clinician good - Admin bad
Rated 4 stars out of 5

The physiotherapist was excellent. Had plenty of time and was a genuine expert. The reception staff were downright hostile. Telling me that they were Coventry NHS and my appointment was with South Warwickshire so I had to stand in a corner (yes, really) and wait for someone from that branch of the NHS to appear. I had arrived early because I'm partially sighted and struggle to find my way around labyrinthine buildings such as hospitals.

Review titled Blood taking department A*
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Emily Bean - Posted on 26 October 2022
Attended the unit today (26/10/2022,13.20) to have bloods taken, but unfortunately experienced problems with pregnancy related vomiting & feeling faint whilst waiting for my appointment. The lady checking the bookings at the front door was incredible during the situation, a true testament to the caring nature of the NHS, thankyou!

Wife received cataract surgery today and her surgery and treatment was 10/10. It's the first time we have come to this hospital for treatment and we were very impressed with the service ,patient care, and how friendly everyone is.
