I didn't have an appointment for my x-ray so didn't know how long I would have to wait. I was so pleased how efficient and helpful the staff were. Professionally and quickly dealt with. Thank you everyone.

  2. Review titled Outstanding people. Pay them more!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Ashley Tunbridge - Posted on 02 February 2023

I hate blood tests. Every time I’ve told the phlebotomists this, and that I get faint after, they have gone out of the way to get me talking and easing my mind off of it. They don’t make me feel rushed to get out of the chair, despite the crowds and manage to keep working whilst also ensuring I’m ok and keeping up a conversation. I am just appalled that they’re not being paid what they deserve. I would happily pay more in tax to have this experience every time.

  3. Review titled Fantastic phlebotomist

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The nurse in room 3 at about 13:00 on Tuesday 31st January was really impressive My veins are really hard to find and she found pretty quickly. The 2 phial of blood came in seconds and there was no bruising afterwards

  5. Review titled Upstairs appointments for wheelchair users

    by Hedgehog01 - Posted on 07 July 2022

So some Outpatients appointments are upstairs at Horsham Hospital. This is fine if you are not in a wheelchair. Staff response when questioned on safety risks was someone can go in the lift with you. So then two people trapped if lift breaks down. Lift might work at beginning of appointment but then can’t be guaranteed to still function at the end of appointment. So then would be unable to get out of the building. Any wheelchair patient should always be seen on the ground floor. It is dangerous to have them up on 2nd floor with no other lift to get out. Especially in the event of a Fire. As they can't just walk down the stairs. Because of the above issue I cancelled my appointment as it’s just not safe to be on the 2nd floor. This is an appointment I’ve waited 1 year for but my safety is just as important. On phoning East Surrey Outpatients they fully understood my problem & couldn’t of been more helpful. My appointment got changed to a phone call. As the alternative was to travel to East Surrey. Taking 5+ hours with Patient Transport, travelling & waiting time. So thanks very much East Surrey Booking Team.

  6. Review titled Don’t go there

Rated 1 star out of 5

Reception staff very unfriendly and no understanding of a difficult situation. Nurse that we saw was incredibly rude and extremely disrespectful and my daughter was left in tears after the experience.
