  2. Review titled Wonderful caring consultants

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was seen by a consultant gynaecologist along with a dermatologist in September. I have never been treated with so much understanding and respect as I was that day. I cannot thank them both enough for my treatment. After 4 years of worry (unnecessarily). I was put at ease and given the correct treatment. I cannot praise them both enough.

  3. Review titled Great A&E experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The A&E department yesterday was clean, calm and efficiently run. I would particularly thank the triage nurse, the radiology department and the doctor who diagnosed and treated me for their extremely professional, reassuring and competent care. they were exemplary.

  4. Review titled Wonderful service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was sent to A & E by the 111 service on 28 August 2023. I was treated with the utmost respect by everyone in the A & E dept. I was given treatment and discharged with instructions to return if things were no better the following day. This I did, as soon as I gave my name at the desk I was taken straight through. The doctors and nurses kept me informed about what was happening to me the whole time. Every single member of staff were kind and courteous without exception.

  5. Review titled Excellent Staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was very pleased with the care I received from the Endoscopy team. I had a Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy booked on the same day and needless to say I was quite nervous about my appointment. But everyone from the nurses to the consultants were extremely kind, compassionate, professional and very skilled at what they did. I came out from the procedure thinking it wasn't as bad as I thought and I had no pain or side effects afterwards either. Overall I was very impressed by the whole team. Thank you for a wonderful service.

  6. Review titled Rude and Unhelpful

Rated 1 star out of 5

A&E total waste of time. Never been spoken to so rudely before than I have by the Receptionist there. Have had to take my child there 3 times and everytime only the Nurses have been great. The rest have been unhelpful and rude

I attended for an endoscopy this afternoon - not the nicest of procedures. All the staff were brilliant with very supportive nurses who helped see me through it. Thank you all

I visited the Endoscopy unit on 28th August. All the staff we very kind and patient with me. I had a gastroscopy and a colonoscopy. I would recommend this unit for anyone who suffers from anxiety as they explained everything and understood that I was nervous and made me feel at ease. Thank you.

  9. Review titled Could be more efficient

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 10 September 2023

I received adequate care and the staff were kind and understanding, however I had to wait 5 hours in the waiting room just to be told they could do nothing for me. It would have taken seconds for a staff member to relay this information to open up more space in the waiting room rather than waiting for a doctor to have time to come out themselves

  10. Review titled Outstanding care.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I visited this hospital on 19th August with my 2 year old after a call to 111. Initially we were seen by the out of hours GP. We were seen straight away and the doctor was thorough and very personable. As a precaution he wanted my son to be seen by a paediatric doctor so after a quick phone call and printing off some information we were on our way up to Holly Ward, after some directions from the very friendly and helpful reception staff. Once we arrived on the ward we were sent straight to a day case bed where my sons obs were taken. After a short wait we were seen by a lovely nurse who explained what we should expect. We then had a wait of maybe an hour to see the most amazing doctor. He really was so lovely with both my son and me. He reassured me that my sons symptoms were nothing to worry about. However, during the consultation he heard a heart murmur. He told me this in both a direct but sensitive manor, even letting me listen to my sons chest. He said he was going to refer my son for further tests and that because he is a twin he would request that they also see his twin brother. I also observed this doctor with other patients and he was amazing with all of them. We have only recently moved to the area and my first experience with this hospital was absolutely outstanding.
