Review titled 1st Class Service and Care

I had to take my elderly brother who has Learning Disabilities to the Urgent Treatment Centre today, I can only say good things. He was well looked after, the staff were 1st class with him, they had patience and time for him, where as our own Drs refused to see him. I thank everyone who had time for him and I would certainly recommend this centre if you are in need of urgent treatment. Thank you

After being messed around by my GPS. I went to UTC for a x ray on long standing ankle injury. They found it to be broken and rather than sending me back to my GP. They looked into my injury and fitted me with a recovery boot. I have also been referred to virtual Fracture clinic at QA. Thank you all very much for superb experience. I was even offered a bottle of water while waiting

My daughter has a grumbling appendix and the war memorial refused to see her. She was told to go there before 9.30 by 111 which she did. She was refused to be seen by a rude lady claiming they had no room and no doctors. She is now waiting outside for 111 to call back. This is after a visit to QA last night who are extremely busy and told her to seek help if the pain worsens. Which she tried to do. Absolutely disgusting service with rude staff. Yes they're under pressure but manners cost nothing.

Phoned 111 and was advised to attend gosport war memorial hospital. On arrival was met by 2 staff who said"what do you want" I advised them that 111 had sent me, they said no chance of seeing you today and sent me away. This was for a head trauma!.

Partner went in to have a scan and they refused me to go in with him despite him being classed as vulnerable the staff were very rude in which they bought down security to speak to me which resulted in 2 men trying to intimidate me (a small female) when trying to explain the situation. My partner then trued to explain to the same member of staff he's vulnerable and requires assistance she was then rude to him as well.

I begrudgingly (due to previous poor experiences) got sent here by 111 and from the moment I arrived the staff were abrupt and rude. Despite not being able to talk due to severe swelling in my throat and being dizzy and unsteady due to an infection my partner couldn’t stay with me which meant I was left in a room alone with the odd person popping In occasionally. When I couldn’t answer for my checking in form the nurse just said well pain is clearly a 10/10 and just applied her own score before giving me a chance to try and speak. Had I have not been so poorly I would have left straight away. A very poor service and next time I will put my foot down to go to st Mary’s instead.

Our son is autistic with severe learning difficulties. Considering he couldn't talk and was in a lot of pain, the staff were very understanding. He received the care he needed, with amazing patience with his screaming and thrashing around. It made a dreaded hospital visit that much more bearable. Thank you

After suffering a fall, I needed an xray on my knee as I could hardly walk. The signage led me to the entrance to the monor injuries unit where a sign told me to go back to where I started! The unit then changed its name!! Waited for a nurse who took my blood pressure and conducted an ECG (why???) then taken to a second waiting room - been here an hour and a half but no one has explained why! Then had to walk back to my car to top up ( difficult with a potentially broken kneebone) with no idea how much to pay ( and you lose the parking fee remaing from the previous payment. I’m now waiting for a practitioner but I haven’t had the xray yet!! What a mess.

I had to attend the hospital on 2 occasions last week due to a burn on my right hand. I can only describe my expierence on both occasions as 10 out of 10. I was seen to immediately and directed where to go and kept up to date with what was going on and when I was seen I can only describe the treatment as highly professional
