I received excellent service when I had my 2nd Cataract operation yesterday. The wards were spotless and all the staff extremely kind and attentive to my needs. They made me feel very relaxed and talked me through the whole procedure. A truly outstanding hospital.

My day surgery was was delivered by practiced and professional staff throughout . The catering lady on the unit went out of her way to ensure I was well fed and hydrated .

Friendly and efficient. Clear explanation as to what I could expect during the procedure that I was to have. Felt assured, confident and secure.

I was seen very quickly and efficiently - with a smile and a welcome. There was very clear explanation of what was going to happen and why and what I needed to do (how to stand etc).

from the first moment you step into this hospital you are warmly greeted by a member of and escorted to your destination. the nurses on duty in the day care ward were excellent, The consultant and anaesthesiologist are as you would expect with the circle goup and goring hall , top notch. Last but certainly not least the lady who brings around a drink and a sandwich was equally very pleasant with a nice cheery smile. Later I was escorted out to the car and the nurse was kind enough to bring the umbrella to keep off the latest heavy downpour overall impression , excellent, wish it was a hotel really!!, could have a nice stay without the associated op pain

My second visit in 18 months for TURP and Bladder stone removal. Doctors and all staff very kind and helpful. Food good. Only a day patient but accommodation very good.

I was amazed on learning whilst the NHS may take two weeks to advise of the date of an appointment for a vital x-ray, which in my case was another two/three weeks into the future, the Goring Hall Hospital truly took only 48 hours from my initial enquiry to actually sending the images (via the internet) to the NHS. Now the GP can discuss/decide/agree the next course of action __ when there is a health problem time is of the essence. Thank you Goring Hall __ incredible politeness allied with efficiency.

Review titled Surgery was great but some ward day staff were not

All the theatre staff were great, kind, caring and attentive. Night staff (nurses) were the same and couldn’t be faulted as were the housekeeping, porters and physiotherapists. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for some of the day staff. One nurse was particularly rude on a few occasions. During my four day stay I only needed to call for assistance once on the evening about 21:00 hrs, after my surgery as I felt extremely unwell. My room was next to the nurses station so I could hear them talking about a quiz they were doing but the bell was not answered and it rang for quite a while before I had to resort to calling out in the end and still no one came. I think they must have decided to come after I stopped calling as I came round from blacking out to find my room full of nurses and a doctor

I was treated very well, Everyone was most helpful kind, and had a smile, so important when you are anxious. Nothing was too much trouble, I didnt feel concerned, everyone put me at my ease. thank you. would thoroughly reccomend you.
