Review titled Excellent staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Had to have a gastroscopy about which I was very anxious - and thought I would need a sedative. This was not necessary thanks to the calm reassurance and professionalism of every member of the clinical staff. They were polite, bolstered my confidence and at all times listened to my concerns and questions. Many thanks. The only problem I have is with your website!

Visited with foot injury. Completely competent and professional from Receptionist,X ray and Nursing staff. Surprised that the MIU does not appear as a separate entity on your list on page 2.

Review titled Wonderful, caring staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by June Whiteside - Posted on 24 October 2023
I had a gastroscopy and colonoscopy and although there was a delay because the computers were not working, the care and attention I received were excellent. The nurses and the locum consultant treated me with care and dignity and although the outcome was not good, I felt I could not have been treated better.

Review titled Good staff but disappointing experience
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by SEAB - Posted on 15 June 2023
Visited Evesham MiU. Staff trying their best but were obviously under pressure & understaffed as they closed to incoming patients two hours before official closing time and told patients not to open the door for anyone. One poor nurse had to multitask and work as both a receptionist and nurse. The actual building looked outdated and like it needed more funding/renovation. We were surprised there was no water dispenser - there was a water jug and a few plastic cups put out on a table but this emptied quickly and didn’t seem very hygienic. There was also a lack of seating for patients (although in the future maybe staff could put more seats in the adjoining children’s room to create extra space) and several patients/visitors had to stand. The wait time was about 2 hours as it was busy & this was expected/fine, but we were surprised that no one came to check on a man who had a bad arm injury (and was waiting a similar time) which soaked through his bandage and started bleeding over the floor. Overall good staff but clearly an overwhelmed service.

If I have an appointment and want to change it, it is not possible. But if they call me, I have to accept any change, and even if I accept the new date and come on time, they don't inform me even after 45 minutes that the doctor is actually missing.

I had an appointment - cardiology. The receptionist, very polite, told me to have a seat in the waiting room. I stayed for 30 minutes, after which I went to ask what was happening. The reception was closed. I asked other member of the staff if they knew anything about my appointment. After other 15 minutes i find out that the doctor was not there all day. I left early from work to be on time. Thank you very much.
