  1. Review titled Breast screening

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 10 January 2023

Recent screening was asked for my personal details out loud whilst reception was behind screen and both wearing masks in crowded waiting room. When questioned was told I need this information. I then spoke again to nurse in screening room and was told I could have asked to be taken away and give details. I thought this should have been asked if I wanted this at the beginning of my registering. I also still had my invite letter mentioned that she was told not needed but all inform wound have been in there. Understand need to confirm who patient is but seemed to be against data protection etc when having to say all details out loud. Maybe this could be revised

  3. Review titled Completely useless

Rated 1 star out of 5

Came in tonight with my 5yr old son at 19:15 with a possible fractured or broken arm and was told we are not seeing any more patients tonight and to go to Norwich this a&e department closes at 20:00, these so called NHS workers have no heart and would rather send a 5yr old on a 1hr drive and 4hr wait than to check my son, pathetic when going home is more important than a child's pain, the worst experience and will never go through there doors again, cromer "hospital" you should be ashamed

  4. Review titled Great help

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I visited A&E today as my father needed a more supportive sling, following surgery at the N&N on Tuesday. Having been unable to purchase one in town I attended the hospital to see if they could help. SN PW could not have been more helpful. Polite, accommodating, professional, a real credit to the NHS. If you have a star of the month, he should receive it!

  5. Review titled Amazing staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Visited today with my seven year old son who had a suspected fractured wrist. Absolutely blown away by the care, compassion and efficiency of every member of staff we encountered - Reception/Nurse Practitioner and Radiographer. We were in and out in an hour and a half, with X-rays taken, a buckle fracture diagnosed and a splint provided. One of the wonderful nurses also gave my son a cuddly toy when he got upset. I am beyond grateful for the genuine care and empathy we were shown today and an absolutely faultless patient experience. Please pass on our very best and sincere gratitude to everyone there today. They really show the NHS at its absolute best.

Very courteous and a very professional service. No complaints at all. I was seen on time even though the department was very busy.

From the greeting by a volunteer at the entrance to the receptionist and the clinical services within the Dermatology Department my experience has been exceptional at Cromer Hospital and at the fabulous new McMillan Unit. I would like to thank all those involved in my treatment and care for making me feel welcome and at ease.
