  1. Review titled First class treatment in A@E

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Christopher Battiscombe - Posted on 23 April 2024

I would like to thank everyone in the A&E department for the excellent treatment I received from all of them yesterday when I came in with a serious and deep cut in my head after falling off a ladder. Despite all the pressure on them they immediately understood the severity of my problem and dealt with it quickly , efficiently and with great sympathy. I would like in particular to thank the doctor who stitched up my wound whose name I know but understand that I am not allowed to mention it.

  2. Review titled Very poor

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Attended AE today, was told I needed to see a member of the colorectal team, waited 9 hours for them to come and see me in AE, to find out they are refusing to come down to see me,as they couldn't be bothered .so they send a doctor who was to busy cracking her knuckles while talking to me. Absolutely disgusting, I had to discharge myself after 9 hours of no care at all. Need to change hospitals. AE staff couldn't apologize enough, but it wasn't their fault,

  3. Review titled More can be done for the non-verbal

Rated 5 stars out of 5

This is the second time the patient has been admitted to hospital and unfortunately because they cannot say when they need an inco pad change they have been left sogging wet, yesterday was another day when the top sheet, night dress all bottom sheets were so wet and the patient was cold, the patient was strip washed and changed after 30 minutes of me raising the concern. The hospital needs to cater for everyone and not just for some patients. Paying special attention to those who cannot speak

  4. Review titled Incredible A&E Team

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Natalie - Posted on 24 February 2024

I went to A&E with cardiac issues and after a short wait in reception I was triaged quickly and seen by the most competent, caring and friendly team of nurses and doctors. Their constant updates, sense of humour and care for not only me but other patients around me was above and beyond their call of duty. I’m incredibly grateful for our NHS and there are many unsung hero’s who don’t get anywhere near enough praise and recognition. Thank you team - you’re all doing an incredible job and hopefully won’t see you again soon!

  5. Review titled Disgrace

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Steve Chilvers - Posted on 16 February 2024

Yesterday, I was booked in to have pre operative Botox injections into my abdomen wall so that the Hernia could be repaired in the next 4 to 6 weeks. Finally some actual progress Gets to the Hospital for half 7 as requested and waited. Got weighed (as per the norm) and had blood pressure taken, then waited some more. Corrected two medical personnel who mentioned another procedure being run then waited. Then waited some more. Then even longer About 09:45, I was informed by a member of admin staff (whose name I know but am not allowed to write on here) and one nurse that, due to delays in acquiring the botox itself, it has been decided that my procedure is not going ahead today and would need to be rebooked. I mused that it has been eight years I've had this Hernia and asked their selection process as to why I was cancelled and not other patients, but no answer was forthcoming. I elected to not speak further as nothing polite was going to be uttered in that moment so left. I'm apparently being rebooked either end of the month, or mid-March.

  6. Review titled Impressive all round

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Your review: I was referred to Chelsea and Westminster Burns Unit by Queen Elizabeth Hopital Woolwich on Wednesday 10th January and my first appointment was on the 11th January.. I had accidently spilt boiling water over my right knee and it was felt I needed specialist care. The unit was extremely clean and staff were very welcoming. I felt that the nursing staff were extremely competent and willing to discuss the treatment in detail. I am surprised by how quickly the wound is recovering after only a few appointments. I feel extremely lucky to have been treated at Chelsea and Westminster Hopital. Thank you very much

I attended the Eye Clinic for a laser procedure. Everyone on the consultant's team was professional and considerate. The consultant who performed the procedure has provided an excellent outcome. Many thanks to you all.

  8. Review titled Treated with love and care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 13 December 2023

I had infection that needed removing. Went in for day surgery. I have never met such a caring, loving team. From receptionist to surgeon. I also have to say that everywhere was spotless. I am in shock at the care I received. Thank you so much for how you cared and treated me and also for all the others that I saw you treating with such love and respect too.

  9. Review titled a& e triage and childrens' ward

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 24 October 2024

I brought my (now) 2 year old grand daughter into the hospital on numerous occasions with her mother via a & e, as she was having seizures. She was quickly triaged and seen by a number of kind, competent and caring doctors and staff. On the children's ward she was given such consideration and now 1 year on she is seizure free. We are hoping and praying that her issues will lessen as time goes by. Thank you to her consultants, nurses and all the staff who looked out for her. One criticism: your internal pharmacy needs to be made more efficient and speedy in its delivery...

  10. Review titled Dedicated staff, very professional and nice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Sabah - Posted on 28 October 2023

While I was visiting London (I am based in Paris ) for a few days I slipped in the tub and hurt my nose and thought it was broken, it was bleeding a lot and I started to have a headache. I was brought by the ambulance to the Hospital (thanks to the 2 persons in the ambulance who were also very professional and very nice). I was taken care of very nicely, all the personal was very nice and professional, the cleanliness of the premises is also great. I can only recommend this hospital. A big thank you to all of you!
