  1. Review titled Blood results never received

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 07 February 2023

Blood tests were carried out on 28.12.22 prior to a haematology clinic appointment at Queen's Hospital - at the time of the test it was made clear to the phlebotomist that the results were to be sent to Queen's Hospital and the test request form was clearly marked Queen's Hospital - despite this the results were not made available to Haematology at Queen's Hospital, consequently the appointment was effectively wasted.

  2. Review titled Great

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My mum was in Tower ward for 5 weeks. And I can't thank this hospital enough. From the minute you walk threw the main door the reception staff are so friendly. And the cafe staff are lovely and the cleaners are so friendly. And as for Tower ward I can't thank them enough every single day I went to visit my mum and it was a absolutely pleasure to go there .

  3. Review titled Excellent Audiology Department

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by David - Posted on 15 September 2022

My recent visit to the audiology department has reminded me that I must congratulate the team on the excellent service it provides. The conduct and professionalism of the audiologist who saw me this time was faultless which has been the case with audiologists at the hospital over the years I have been attending. All information is provided with politeness, clarity and always when facing the patient. This was not been my experience several years ago at another hospital when the audiologists often turned away when discussing hearing problems. Even on my way out the person behind the desk smiled and said good bye. I felt I had received an all round excellent experience.

  5. Review titled Bayman Ward

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 29 November 2022

My Uncle was on Bayman Ward for a few weeks. Staff were very caring and he had his own room. I struggled and rushed to visit after work and only had half an hour a day to see him as Ward Manager would not let me change my visiting hours. As my slot was 2-4 work kindly let me change my hours so I could finish at 3pm instead of 4pm. Half an hour journey to hospital which meant I only had half an hour visiting each day. Only 1 person allowed each day too. Considering this is an over spill of the ward he was in at Basildon Hospital I found it much stricter. Basildon were much more helpful and accommodating. I don’t know why Ward Manager was so unhelpful as Uncle being in a room on own wouldn’t of affected anybody! Also, one of his hearing aids was lost in there too which were expensive to buy. No televisions in there either, not like Basildon. My Uncle was very lonely in there and deteriorated very quickly.
