    I was treated in the Dermatology department recently. I attended for a biopsy and was greatly impressed by the professionalism, efficiency, punctuality and above all friendly treatment I received. I was made to feel totally at ease and the rational explanation for treatment was clear and thorough. I cannot recommend the department more highly. Excellent throughout. Thank you.

    I went to GP about a small growth on my nose which may not be cancer but with my sun worshipping history was worth checking out. Within days I had an appointment at Amersham Skin Care Hospital, where as a precaution I was referred to an appointment to have it removed. Within days I was given an appointment. I arrived a little early but was seen within minutes. The two staff were incredible, friendly and reassuring. (I can't remember their names) They were efficient and thorough, professional and informative. One of my better life experiences, thank you.

    Came on a dermatology referral today and I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff. From the reception staff, to the doctor, to the staff that took photos, and to the nurses who carried out a minor biopsy. Everyone was incredibly kind, friendly and made the whole process seamless. Your work is very much appreciated. Thank you.

  4. Review titled Excellent and rapid treatment

    A couple of weeks ago I realised that a follow-up appointment had not been received, so I rang the department for an update. The receptionist checked my details and then offered me an appointment for the following day, which I gladly accepted. I was seen on time, as usual, by a very nice doctor who went through all my previous and current symptoms and then confirmed the diagnosis with a colleague. They then treated some areas of concern, and also discussed results from a previous surgery with me. Let's be honest, nobody likes having things wrong, but every time I have been to Amersham/Stoke Mandeville/Wycombe for skin issues, I have always received excellent and rapid treatment. Keep up the good work, you know who you are, and see you again in six months.

    Just had a recent visit to Amersham Dermatology, slightly apprehensive about having a small mole removed from my back. I was taken into some newly refurbished rooms. The 2 Staff that carried out the procedure were incredible, being caring and knowledgeable. Within minutes I knew I was in expert hands. Thank you and all your colleagues

    I have been waiting for a dermatology referral , since 22nd June 2022, I am in pain and extremely struggling mentally. I have tried to call so many times but can never speak to someone , i always get through to an automated person. I am sick of feeling so low mentally which i have expressed and have been waiting too long for this its ridiculous. My GP actually advised me to call and gave me the right phone number because I am in such urgency and nothing!! Dont get referred if your not willing to wait over a year suffering.

    I had appt for a small problem on my back, and was greeted by a dour faced receptionist.The doctor and nurse were excellent, a appt was made for removal of problem on my back, which was subsequently changed to 25th oct at 11.45.On the 13th oct I was sent a email saying about £160.00 cost for missing appt's ( I wonder why that would be ,maybe tell the patients)...Which didn't say what it was for! but had changed to the 19th oct..I phoned the hospital to be put through to a surly lady, who when I told her about the issue"said they are doing their best",I replied that ,they weren't doing a good job at all. I was given another number to call which was multiple choice again..and then a answerphone...still waiting for a response......And you wonder why people get upset!!!!!! You cannot remonstrate with anyone because they don't answer phones You cannot email them direct because they don't give a email address

    From arriving to departure I was treated like royalty….. superb teamwork….. special thanks to the cheerful surgical nurses ….. I left with a plaster and a big smile on my face .

    For the second time in just over a year I was referred to the dermatology department by my GP after a lump developed on my face. Once again I was seen on time by an excellent specialist who not only checked out the obvious problem but also checked me for other potential areas of concern. Due to the nature of the problem I have been referred to Stoke Mandeville for further treatment where I hope to receive the same level of care and attention. Thanks to all the staff for making a very worrying time as stress free as they could.

    From the Receptionist through the form filling in ENT to being seen by the doctor I experienced really good care at my appointment on 21/7/22. Things were explained clearly. All staff were very patient and supportive despite clearly being under lots of pressure. Thank you
