I am an 87 year old lady who was given great treatment from two wonderful Paramedics all the way from Hastings to Uckfield when I became unwell in the charity shop where I am a volunteer. Thank you a hundred times.

Hi crew... I was taken in by the ambulance crew on the 10th of spetember after being in a car crash insisted I was fine but usual protocol ect had to be checked out at the hospital. I wanted to say a massive thank you to the crew as past experience with medical professionals hasn't always been that great. I wanted to ensure the crew of how good they are at their job, in a distressing situation patience and kindness goes along way and to be felt at ease when you hurt makes the situation a lot easier. I felt I was treated properly and got the right care I needed. Thanks again guys keep doing what you do best! Shania and yaz.

The two ladies from Banstead were very assuring and encouraging. Wheelchair contraption was manouvred from house to ambulance over difficult pebbles. I am walking again but my arthritis flair up was a rather frightening experience up to the time of their arrival.

We can’t praise secamb staff enough after we had to call for an emergency ambulance for our Dad three times in less than 24 hours. All of the staff, from the Emergency Medical Adviser’s taking the initial calls, to the Paramedics and the Paramedic Practitioners were exemplary in both their professionalism and care towards Dad and us as a family. Unfortunately end of life care needed to be put in place which was explained to us in a professional but sympathetic manner. Ultimately Dad passed away very quickly and the same Paramedic Practitioner attended to confirm his death which we took comfort from. We appreciate the care given to us all at a very difficult time.

Crew was sent to my home address after phoning 111 for advice… I was kept informed about expected arrival times at all points… Crew attending were wonderfully reassuring and professional. They were never in the slightest dismissive of my concerns…

Last Fri a.m I was told by my Gp to call for an ambulance immediately because of a very erratic heart rate and low blood pressure. I have Atrial Fibrolation normally controlled by medication. I rang 999. It took 5 minutes for my call to be answered, I was put through to the ambulance service. I answered some questions and was told there was a wait of 7 hours!. I live less than 20 mins from the nearest hospital and about 8 mins from the ambulance station. I am 71 and I live alone. An acquaintance who had dropped by agreed to take me to hospital. I was immediately whisked into A and E and wired up to an Echocardiogram and other machines and seen by the cardiac team. If I had waited for 7 hours I hate to think how I would have been

A massive thank you to the crew that attended my husband yesterday. At such a worrying time their compassion and professionalism was amazing. On the way to hospital one crew member talked to my husband the whole way to calm him and let him know what was happening. A “thank you” does not seem adequate. One crew member even popped into A & E later in the day to see how things were going. Over and above - amazing. How lucky are we to live within your area.

I cannot thank, or praise, enough the emergency team that looked after me after a medical episode on a train last weekend. They were methodical and thorough in their treatment - whilst being sympathetic and very reassuring. Once off the train, the same care continued in the ambulance on the trip to hospital - keeping me calm and explaining what was happening. When at A&E, all through the check-in process, they were both attentive and caring - and did not leave until they knew I was in another 'pair of safe hands'. A review 'thank you' does not seem enough to such a fantastic duo - to who my wife and I are truly grateful.

My son arrived 20/09/23 at home unplanned, we didn't have time to get to the hospital and called for an ambulance. The team that arrived were amazing and so wonderful. It was a total whirlwind and pretty scary at moments however the team and the 999 call handler were so calm and positive. I never thought I would have my baby at home and was so lucky to have such an incredible team around me to welcome him into the world. I really hope the team involved get to see this. I look back at the birth of my son and I am so proud of what I did however this wouldn't have been possible without these paramedics. My husband and I thank them so much for everything.
