I had a smear got a appointment with in a week and the nurse was a absolute star made me feel welcome , comfortable and at ease straight away ,explained what was going to happen .took less than 5 mins

I went to my appointment to have my ears looked at and flushed as been blocked for nearly 3 weeks. Got told the flushing machine had broken, it’s been sent away, they don’t think it’ll be able to be fixed so will have to order a new one. Asked for a timeline for this and told they didn’t know. My ears were looked at and told me to keep doing everything I have been doing for the last 3 weeks. I’m no further forward since having this appointment and if anything wasted an appointment someone else could have had. I was advised I could go to Specsavers as they deal with hearing but regardless of it costing £55 there, I would rather it be carried out by the ear nurse at the doctors. Having been told this surgery has merged with The Maples, could working equipment not be sourced from the other practice? I am disappointed. When I had this issue a few years back the care was a lot better.

Dear Patient We are sorry you have had cause to comment on your experience at Warden Lodge. Unfortunately, our machine used for ear irrigation stopped working during our clinic, and we are awaiting an update from the manufacturer. Currently we are not able to advise on when we will be able to book appointments for ear irrigation as the situation is out of our control. We are not in a position to obtain equipment from elsewhere and apologise for the inconvenience. Kind Regards Warden Lodge

Called by the surgery regarding my elderly father. A medication review was suggested and blood tests were required to ensure there were no detrimental effect from taking various tablets long term. It was good to know that the practice were being proactive in the care of its patients.

Very happy with treatment ' the nurse was so gentle and considerate and explained what she was going to do before treating me. I feel very fortunate to belong to this practice everyone has always been so helpful.

I saw a GP yesterday who was kind, thoughtful empathic to my needs. She listened, explained and discussed my results and the plan going forward and I left feeling I was in good hands. Thank you.
