The GP I see cares greatly about my wellbeing and overall physical and mental health. He takes his time and is thorough, friendly and highly professional.

Today I took my 4 year old to see an on-call GP. I called the surgery with the medical issue in the morning and was given a face to face appointment for that same morning. The appointment was friendly and efficient and advice was given and my daughter was prescribed the medication she needed. The phone-call waiting time was long, however the friendliness of the staff both on the phone and when visiting the practice was good and I am happy with the experience. The surgery is particularly good at seeing children in a timely manner.

Having had a telephone consultation with a Health Care Professional at the practice I had been given a face-to-face appointment with one of the doctors. After an unrushed consultation and a medication adjustment I left the surgery with a referral and having benefitted from the knowledge, understanding and care that we all expect from a GP My husband and I have been patients at this practice for 40+years and as we have aged find ourselves needing more regular contact with the practice. The nurses and receptionists, although always busy, still have time for a cheery greeting. An unseen person speedily sends our prescription requests to the pharmacy. Yes, there's often a wait on the phone, but it's always a friendly, helpful, reassuring voice that will answer.

I arrived for my appointment to see a GP doing CPR on a collapsed patient in entrance foyer. 2 ambulances attended. Surgery staff were amazing....calm, quiet and very professional with unhappy patients unable to attend their appointments. They were given new appointments. I was able to see my doctor who was friendly and professional and referred me for an x-ray. Today I had follow up appointment to review results of x-ray. I felt listened to and not rushed. I was given options regarding my medication. I've been a patient at the surgery for over 20 years and have never had a bad experience.

Recently I found the receptionist helpful and efficient ,I was given an appoint that same morning and found Dr Hampshire very pleasant showing concern and reassurance explaining everything thoroughly

Whilst Thorpewood still has a lots of room for improvement I am happy with the service received today. Dr Nnene listened to my issues and took his time with me. I didn’t feel rushed and after a long period of banging my head against a wall I finally feel like someone is listening to my concerns. I am very thankful for the level of care received today.

Went online to check time of upcoming appointment It has not been registered So I call at 08.02 and already I'm No.10 in queue!!!! Recorded advice says to go online ... bit difficult when you do just that and the information hasn't been uploaded

Dear Patient I am sorry with the problems you are experiencing. Without your details I cannot investigate or explain the situation. If you have submitted an E Consult - please check your spam as we would respond stating a date of appointment or information to assist. We continue to support all our patients in the national Covid Vaccination campaign. We are currently facilitating the 4th vaccination. Over the last few months this programme has prompted an additional 31,000 calls to the Surgery; over and above the 400 we receive daily. I do apologise.
