    In this very uncertain world we find ourselves in and with all the cuts and restrictions imposed on services, I have found Shelley Manor has tried very hard to continue with its excellent personable service. They have been attentive and certainly dealt my health issues giving me confidence in not only my surgery, but my GP, who never failed to follow up on my wellbeing. I consider myself lucky to be with this practice.

    Although at times hard to get a quick appointment overall this surgery is doing their best to look after their patients. You can get a quick appointment if it is regarding an urgent issue! Doctors, nurses and receptionists are very professional and I always feel treated with respect and dignity

    Dear Patient Thank you for your kind feedback. We offer routine telephone and face to face appointments in advance with a patient's usual GP up to four weeks in advance and acute on the day appointments both morning and afternoon. Appointment demand fluctuates for various reasons, but we do regularly review appointment availability and make changes where we can.     I was off sick with stress from work and my GP was very supportive and looked after me for the whole of 6 months. I felt cared for and that I matter, despite the pressures in the NHS. Being allocated one GP throughout also helps. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

    Once you get through the telephone system you get very good service. You can see a doctor or nurse practitioner on the same day if it’s urgent (not always your allocated GP). The phone system operates a queuing system so you know how long you’re waiting or if it’s urgent you can go and make an appointment in person. The doctors are friendly and caring. There’s a very good Day Lewis pharmacy on site and they’ll send a prescription straight down there if you need one.

Since the installation of our new telephone system last year feedback has for the most part been very much improved.     I went to the surgery for the first time. Everyone was nice smiling and helpful. I have explain why I was there and they find ne the GP suitable fir my problem. I had an appointmentquite shortly after my first visite. I saw the GP she was very understanding. I am very happy with my traitement and all the help I had from my surgery. 5*

    I find most of the staff, nurses and doctors try their best for their patients. Some are more patient and efficient than others, some are kinder than others - because they are human. I have always found the treatment I received to be good and caring.

    All the staff are very friendly and helpful. All of the doctors I have seen have been kind, efficient and pleasant. The practice itself is very clean and very well maintained. I would recommend to everyone.

    The asthma clinic is very good when I am called in the nurse is really nice changed my meds When occasionally I had need of Dr managed to see one not my own but I understood

    Very good in an emergency situation , you get prompt appointments at the hospital . It does take several weeks to see a dr if it’s not urgent sadly but that’s the same as other Dr s I’m sure . Overstretched but when you do see a Dr they are very good .
