    Both my husband & I have had two occasions recently where we needed to see a G.P. & we called at Shelley Manor early in the morning & were given appointments the same day. Both of us were very satisfied with the treatment. We have recommended our family to use this practice.

    I have injections every 3 months always very pleasant and caring I always get my appointment on time medication spot on. The reception team are very helpful any queries they will find out for you

    I was in a bit of a panic as I had an infection and was leaving to go on holiday that evening. They prescribed the antibiotics and got them dispensed the same day. Marvellous.

    Having had a challenging year with an accident injury in September 2021 followed by surgery in November then being diagnosed with cancer at the start of 2022 I cannot fault the care and professional support by all the staff at Shelley Manor Medical Centre. They helped me get through the worst period of my life. Always responsive and willing to go that extra mile to help. Thank you all.

    Popped into the Surgery in the morning and appointment arranged promptly for afternoon. Was seen by Nurse Practioner for two matters, the latter of which resulted in us nipping up to see a Doctor. Marvelous service! Thank you to all the staff.

    I attended for my visit today and was told it had been cancelled. I had not been informed. The receptionist didn't apologise. She obtained an appointment for me, late, and I missed work because of it. And I work for the NHS myself. The doctor was offhand and uncaring. Not interested in me at all. Depressing.

    Dear patient Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I was sorry to read your recent appointment had been cancelled and you had not been notified. Unfortunately, from time to time we do have to make changes / cancel appointments due to sickness, but we always try to contact the patient to inform them and try to re-book the appointment.     I was suffering from an ear ache, arranged an appointment with a clinician the same day. She diagnosed an infection immediately and sent a prescription directly to the adjoining pharmacy. Cleared it up in a few days.

    I have always received a good service from both the doctor's, medical professionals and the practice support staff. Everything is explained and all avenues are explored, when dealing with my health issues. I am never talked down to.

    I phoned the surgery to get an appointment with a lady doctor and was given an appointment four weeks ahead . On thinking about what was wrong with me, I decided I would like to have a telephone conversation with a doctor and was told I couldn’t have one until three weeks time. Then I had to explain to the receptionist, in detail, why I wanted some advice sooner and was given a next day appointment. The Doctor was extremely helpful and put me at my ease. So my review would be that once you get past the receptionist the Doctor is great.

    Dear patient Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Our reception team book routine appointments with a patient's usual GP several weeks in advance for both telephone and face to face appointments. If a patient feels an appointment is not routine and perhaps needs to be seen sooner out team can book an on the day more urgent appointment and i am pleased to read this did happen in your case.
