Thanks to the clinic for the blood test. However tried to make an urgent appointment for a recurring issue and offered an earliest appointment in 5 weeks time. Why such a delay?

We've had excellent experiences with this surgery. All the GPs we've talked to are fantastic and caring, the staff is friendly, and the vaccination system was always running smoothly even when other surgeries were having trouble. But: there is something seriously wrong with the phone lines. PMG, if you can look into this, it would be so helpful, and it would probably ease stress on your staff. As other reviewers have mentioned, the phone almost always gives you a busy tone. I don't mind getting into a waiting system ("you are third in the queue," etc.) but it seems like 95% of the time that isn't working or it only has room for four or five people to be on hold? Everyone else must just call back 20+ times throughout the day in hopes of getting through. I've had many experiences where I simply can't get through to book an appointment, and have given up to drive to the surgery and speak to someone in person, which is not ideal when you're trying to keep number of in-person visitors down. Please PMG, call your phone provider and have them add more queue spots, I have never had so much trouble reaching a surgery on the phone!

I have had several appointments recently with various doctors, and have been very pleased with the care. And also the specialist nurses who have cared for my leg problems. Thank you to all the team.

I phoned this morning as I have an ear infection. The receptionist couldn't have been nicer. She was so lovely and friendly. I received a call from a doctor, who was also lovely. Thank you so much for such great service.

I called yesterday at 15.28 for my child, I was contacted by the GP at 15.41 confirming some details and we were offered a face to face appointment at 16.30. Just an hour after the initial call. The receptionist was helpful and polite and asked appropriate questions. We saw the GP just moments after 16.30 they spoke to our child and explained everything to them. Unfortunately this problem couldn't be resolved in primary care and we were asked to attend A&E in order to see specialist consultants. On our way down to A&E I received a detailed text message from the GP outlining what they had done and what I needed to mention and whom they'd spoken to. Because of this we were triaged in A&E quickly, seen by the consultant and registra, been given the correct medication and discharged with a follow-up appointment, and all within 5 hours of my initial call to PMG. The GP went above and beyond to ensure that our child was seem by the correct consultant and offered all the information that we needed. The fact that the GP spoke to our child made the whole process much easier for them. Thank you very much for your amazing care.

I had an appointment booked for today which is one of the hottest days in history and was contacted by the doctor to offer me a phone call to save me travelling which I was so grateful for. My issues were dealt with kindly and incredibly efficiently as always. The staff are so helpful and go out of their way to help in anyway they can. The receptionists are also friendly and again very helpful. I feel very grateful to be a patient of PMG and thank them all very much. Rosemarie Smith

Rang for an appointment. After waiting for half an hour told to ring after 2pm. Rang at 2 and told to contact via internet. Website down. Not sure where I go from here. Usually great service from this practice but just want some advice/contact. Know that they are busy and staff off with sickness so do sympathise

I telephoned the surgery and was promised a telephone appointment to investigate my eye infection . I received a call from the receptionist to offer me an appointment at three surgery for 8 am the next day . The Dr was all prepared with swabs , explained my Blepharitus and the treatment. He even took the time and trouble to print notes on the condition for me to take home . It was a good experience and I thank him . The staff at PMG are always polite , friendly and very efficient . The organisation for the Vaccinations was excellent . It is an excellent practice .
