  1. Review titled Extremely poor service

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Christopher Fell - Posted on 25 January 2023

Rude and uncaring receptionists, long waiting times on phone (30 minutes +), then told there are no appointments. Six monthly diabetes reviews and blood tests not adhered to. Have to ring up and demand one (up to one month for available appointment with diabetic nurse)! Sometimes wonder if the practice actually has doctors on site, as staff car park rarely has more than two cars in it. Getting an appointment has always been a bit of a challenge, especially after they moved from their old address in Poplar Avenue, Peterborough, but from the outset of Covid lock down, and up to the present date, this practice has become unreachable and uncaring towards its patients, and judging by the high number of bad reviews it has, it needs to be investigated for failure to supply the service they are paid for, which is to provide a a caring and efficient practice for their patients. This is a legal and moral requirement, which this practice sadly seems to have been ignoring.

Dear Mr Fell I have tried to contact you today to discuss the matter further. I will try again, or please email cpicb.nightingalemc@nhs.net to arrange a time to call. Diabetes reviews are performed annually at the practice. Many Thanks Nightingale Medical Centre

  2. Review titled Podiatrist no show for my appointment

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 29 December 2022

I arrived for my 1030am appt to see foot doctor, receptionist said he normally comes in at 1030 and told me to wait, 30 mins later I felt that I had been forgotten, went to reception to be told I don't know where he is but didn't seem to follow up, I walked out in dismay as was told to come back and wait .

Hi The podiatrist is attached to the practice but is an outside service, which we offer that uses the building. I apologies the receptionist were unaware as to where the podiatrist was. It would be the responsibility of the third party to make us aware if he was late or unable to turn up. It appears this communication was missing. Many Thanks Nightingale Medical Centre

  3. Review titled Hand cream

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anthony Amissah - Posted on 14 September 2022

I was treated extremely well, the staff were prompt polite and a credit to the NHS. They made me feel comfortable with everything going on. They even let me use some hand cream when I finished giving samples and washing my hands.

  4. Review titled Terrible Service

Rated 1 star out of 5

Impossible to get an appointment - Only telephone triage, unless suggested by one of their practitioners, but it is extremely hard to get it - Receptionists are not helpful at all - Terrible experience

Hi If you would like to email us on cpicb.nightingalema@nhs.net with your details so we can look into this further. We are currently offering telephone triage, but if you need to be seen this will be arranged via a clinician. We understand it is frustrating to try to get an appointment at the moment, but we are looking into other ways to ensure those who need an appointment get one. Many Thanks Nightingale Medical Centre

This doctor surgery Is Massive but you never see a doctor everything is done by telephone even appointments are done online. also i do my mum's appointments for her has she's got no computer and is 77 years old. Had a medical review regarding my medication and I asked how to come off the medication got no help whatsoever was meant to get something in the post but never received it both doctors at the same surname so I guess it's a family surgery my advice would go somewhere else
