    Firstly I would like to thank the doctor for telephoning me yesterday May 21st with advice on Blood test results.I had been contacted before by a lady that needed”further consultation with the doctor”My blood test was for blood sugar andCholesterol,the lady in question could not provide any information without further consultation.Could I please ask now that could people detailed to consult with patients(in my case blood test results)be fully informed before contacting patients.

    I was notified by the Surgery that I needed a Blood test,and consequently booked a Blood test on May 9th.The Blood test was for Blood sugar& Cholesterol.Upon receiving Blood test results I was contacted by the Surgery to discuss them.The person I spoke to informed me that the results were due to some sort of Cholesterol abnormality,but did not give me any further information.Upon telephoning the Surgery the following day the person I spoke to said that,according to my notes the patient did not want medication,which was not mentioned on my telephone appointment.The person I spoke to on my telephone appointment said she would go back to further consultation with the Doctor.Could I please ask now that what was the point of my telephone appointment?as when I telephoned the Surgery apparently my Lipids were ok.

    I registered for Anima and requested my usual repeat prescription, about 20 minutes later i received a text to say the doctor had reviewed my request and to log onto Anima to see the result. My repeat had been signed off and sent electronically to the pharmacy i had chosen, all within approx 20 mins of my request, no long phone calls etc, very simple and responsive. I shall post when i try to make an appointment and let you know how that works out for me. Very impressed with this new service so far.

    Been having issues getting repeat prescriptions, my GP retired last year and was not informed of this and who is my new gp is now. Can never get through to anyone on the phone, my pharmacy never gets a response from Medway medical Centre when I put in for a new prescription. Not a happy customer.

    Dear Mr Bennett, Thank you for your review. All patients were informed of the merger via text message. A message was sent to you in July and August 2023 if we have the incorrect phone number please call us so we can take a look and amend if necessary. Your nominated pharmacy have a designated email address they email their requests too and these are normally actioned within 3 working days. We will look into this and see why the requests are not coming through. You can also submit requests through your NHS app or through Anima. Many Thanks Medway Medical Centre

    My 83 mother has been unable to get face to face appointment with a doctor to discuss recent xray results despite phoning at 8am and visiting the surgery. It was explained that she did not want a phone consultation as she struggles to hear people on the phone. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful. We will now be moving to another practice as there has been no improvement in the level of service provided by this practice despite it being placed in special measures.

    I used the new system for the first time to request a GP letter. The whole process was really quick and easy and my request has already been responded to by a doctor. I’m really impressed. Malvern Road Surgery have always been very accommodating and able to respond to my request but this new system totally streamlines the whole process. Thank you.

    Have been waiting for blood tests results for 6 weeks.keep getting texts saying doctor will ring.Never happens.I know this as my landline and mobile phones tell me if I get a missed call.

    When a repeat prescription doesn’t happen, who’s fault is it. Surgery says pharmacy. Pharmacy says surgery Trying to sort this out i sat on the phone from 10:30 to 12:30 without an answer. How on earth is this even possible. So I tried to use their new booking system to raise my query. Press 0 says the ansaphone. Your selection not recognised, says a different voice. So stuffed again. And all the time I have no urgent medications. Repeat what is going on. I bitterly resent them receiving any government money for my health care

    Dear Mr Pizer. Thank you for your feedback. I would like to apologise for the experience you received. We did have an issue at the time with the new booking system which should hopefully be resolved now. We will speak to the staff taking calls to see what the reason was for the delay in taking calls. As for prescriptions, we aim to have all requests from patients/pharmacy actioned within 3 working days of receiving them. We will be sure to look into this. Thanks Medway Medical Centre
