    The receptionist was very helpful and sorted out my appointment to see the doctor for a review. I am a cancer patient and need understanding and continuity.

    I was phone today by a lovely, patient and understanding Dr, for a telephone consultation. I didn't feel rushed, I felt cared about and most importantly he was understanding of my situation. I have never met this Dr, but wouldn't at all mind if I was put under his care permanently. Because of my query I was concerned about being rushed or not taken seriously. I wasn't rushed and I was definitely taken serious. Thankyou Dr.

    dr phoned me and left an unaudable message on voicemail.would think a dr would not mumble but speak clearly.phoned surgery was told could not get another telephone appointment for 7 days.pathetic as usual

    Attended at the request of the surgery for health check blood tests. Immediately upon entering the practice there is a sign stating ‘for blood tests go upstairs’. So I went upstairs and sat and waited for 5 minutes before going back downstairs to speak to reception. I advised the receptionist that I’d waited upstairs for 5 minutes but there’s no one about and no one had come out to see me. Receptionist said I should have initially gone to reception to let them know I’d arrived. I told the receptionist I had followed the surgery instructions on entering the building and perhaps they should change the signage. I’m no rocket scientist but can follow simple instructions. Receptionist was pleasant and helpful enough and agreed with me. The nurse who took my blood was lovely and friendly. She asked if I had brought a sample but I hadn’t been told to when I made the appointment. Another breakdown in communication, and I now have to provide a sample which means attending the surgery again.

We are currently reviewing the signage you refer to; it seems this has been put in place by community services that utilise the building rather than something the practice has implemented, we will therefore address this.     Every time I ring before 8oclock inmorning they my call when they do anser there is never no apoinments all they say is ring 111 so I go walk in centre where i get better treatment
