    I went in today, Wednesday, 1 November 2023, for a health check that had been arranged by the practice. I was seen on time, and the service I received was even better than and beyond what I had anticipated. In addition to the usual measurements of blood pressure and weight, etc., I was given a recommendation for a shingles vaccine which I agreed to and received during the same visit. I was given clear information and also great advice and recommendations about my health, with two future appointments for further services, at dates, times and locations convenient to me. When I went home after my visit, I checked my Medical Record on the Patient Access system, and found that the service I received (all the facts, figures and appointments, etc.) had already been promptly and clearly uploaded on the system. I am very pleased with the service I received, and the experience made me feel very happy about the current state of my health. I find the staff at the Leigh Family Practice courteous and helpful and I would like to thank them for the great service they provide, especially the nurse who conducted my health check today.

    The nurse was very helpful & very understanding, I actually learned why my breathing was worse morning & night due to Astma

    Surgery sent me a text about a telephone consultation and rang me later to see if the appointment time was ok, The nurse rang on time and was very pleasant…(Not like some).

    Was told to come in for a flu jab. made an appointment turned up was told I was too young, not eligible for a flu jab. not a good service

    The clinical staff are great , very pleasant. Took time with me and my baby Just difficult to get through to the reception when you need to call, but are available at the desk when you go in the surgery

    I went to reception to check in for my appointment, spoke to the member of staff who said they checked me in. After half an hour I went back up to the reception to ask what was going on. The receptionist then informed me that the previous staff member had not checked me in. I ended up waiting nearly an hour

I would like to thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention and may we assure you of our continued service to you at all times. May we also take this opportunity to apologise that you had to wait to see the clinician , I can see from your notes that you were marked as arrived for your appointment by the receptionist but another staff member accidently changed this , This error has been discussed with the staff member in question. The surgery endeavours to provide the best possible standard of care to all our patients and we will continue with regular monitoring and review to enable us to constantly improve the services we offer.

    I moved to this practice after having issues with my previous doctors. Leigh Family Practice were easy to contact, the appointment was on time, staff at the desk were friendly and helpful and the nurse was lovely! Very informative and explained everything she would be doing and why. Have recommended to family already
