    Yesterday, my wife suffered a severe injury to her left hand with a burns injury. This morning, we contacted the Surgery and they immediately arranged for her to see one of the Practice Nurses. She received superb treatment and will have further treatment on Friday morning. Thank you so much to the Nurse involved for her kindness, treatment and advice to my wife.

    For 2 days I have tried to make an appointment. Yesterday I was told to ring the following morning- Which I have done today. I rang this morning and was waiting on the line for 1hr 25mins. To then be told to ring after 2pm. I rang after 2pm and was on the phone a further 45mins and the phone cut off. I rang back again and was waiting a further 1hr 10mins (for 45mins I was first in the que supposedly!) so i proceeded to go to the GP in person myself. I expected the room to be filled with patients and staff run off their feet due to no one being able to take my calls all day - there was 1 patient waiting, and 3 members of staff in the office. After speaking to the receptionist I was told to wait for a doctor to ring me - I wasn't informed when this is, today? Tomorrow? Just "in a couple of days" was the response. How this is ok when people have jobs and responsibilities which may lead them not being able to take the call? The surgery has gone completely down hill and covid can not be the blame. The NHS will be better privatised at this point.

    Last week my wife started to run out of BD Micro-Fine Needles for her Diabetis Machine. We immediately contacted the Practice Manager and she kindly asked the Repeat Prescriptions Clerk to send a prescription to our local chemist. By 4pm the same day my wife had received her Needles. Thank you to all of the staff at Elbury Moor Surgery for their excellent service.

    A member of the Administrative Team rang me, yesterday, to inform me of progress for treatment at a local hospital. She was extremely polite, helpful and provided me with excellent feedback concerning my future treatment. This followed on from an excellent telephone consultation with the Senior Partner, at this practice. I am so thankful to both individuals concerned for their first class efforts on my behalf. Great service from both of you.
