    I have just taken part in the most recent meeting of the Elbury Moor Patient Participation Group. This group meets regularly to discuss all issues relating to medical treatment of all patients registered at the Surgery. The Practice Manager, ably assistant by her Assistant Manager and the Practice Pharmacist, provided excellent information regarding a number of important issues. The telephone system, patients failing to attend their appointments and the review of prescribed medications were all discussed in depth. Thank you to the Practice Manager and her staff for their professional input, advice and extremely helpful comments. Very well done to all concerned.

    Put on HRT causing shortness of breath Insomnia been trying to get back into the doctor's for 2 weeks to sort out shortness of breath and insomnia have pins and needles in feet and hands pain in back and shoulders but was told it's carpal tunnel carpal tunnel doesn't affect feet can't get back into doctors keep them about feet some days I can hardly walk but still cannot get an appointment I've tried online appointment totally ignored call yesterday about the breathlessness receptionist said HRT prescription is in the chemist and then hung up regardless that it's the HRT that is causing the breathlessness I would like to see one of their elusive rare commodities a doctor before I die are the receptionists employed to act as a buffer to ensure the least amount of appointments are made because I'm sure breathlessness difficulty and walking and pain should qualify me for an appointment rather than being hung up on if you can use another surgery I would suggest you do so

    The doctors at Elbury Moor could not have been more helpful providing a most caring and thorough treatment and assessment of my mothers medical needs after a recent fall. They were so supportive and helpful going that extra mile for her. Thank you

    The treatment I received from the practice was very fast and effective. The doctor gave me a full examination and recommended further investigations, which have been booked to be carried out at the surgery. The reception team and manager were very efficient in contacting me with the appointments. The Practice manager has been very helpful in expediting my treatment plan. I am very satisfied with the care I am receiving for my illness.

    I have been a member of the Elbury Moor Patient’s Forum since it was formed at Lowesmoor Surgery. At present, we meet on a regular basis to discuss the running of the Practice. Over the last few years the excellent Practice Manager has provided first class information and detailed advice to its members. Recently, the Manager concerned has also organised a series of highly professional sessions for both Covid and Flu Vaccinations. Such efforts, on behalf of all the patients, should be fully recognised and applauded. Very well done indeed.

    On Monday I contacted the Prescriptions Team and asked for my monthly repeat prescriptions, one week early, so I would be able to take my medicines on holiday next week. On Wednesday afternoon my Chemist delivered all of the requested prescriptions from the Surgery. The service I received was first class and I am grateful to the Prescriptions Team for their excellent professional services. Another example of great work by all staff at Elbury Moor Surgery.

    Today, Elbury Moor Surgery successfully organised a special event for patients to be able to have both Flu and Covid Injections. The morning was very well organised with the Partner GP’s, Nursing Staff, Reception Staff and Practice Manager all providing first class advice, help and treatment. In particular, the Practice Manager made sure that the flow of patients was smoothly organised and those with disabilities were particularly cared or. Well done to everyone at Elbury Moor Surgery for their efforts, kindness and care.

    Ordered a prescription last friday21/10/22 went to collect on wed 26/10/22only to be told they had not received it, went to the doctors and was told the computers had been down and there was no record after a lot of going backwards and forwards between the doctors and the pharmacy was told it would be ready by 6 pm, went to collect it and found when I got home I had been given the wrong medication,this isn’t the first time I’ve had problems with this new ordering system

    Whilst on holiday, in Cornwall, I contracted a severe eye infection. Upon my return home I contacted the Surgery and was immediately given an appointment to see a Doctor the next day. I attended the appointment and was seen by the Senior Partner. She prescribed medication and I am now recovering from Conjunctivitis. May thanks to all the medical, administration, business and nursing staff for their ongoing excellent services. Thank you so much.

    4/5 weeks for blood test results. Emailed Repeat prescription no longer confirmed which means calling to check its gone through wasting admin time. Such a rigmarole to see a doctor these days. Frustrating
