    After weeks of being unwell with a hacking and painful cough, I want to personally thank the doctor who called me and the reception staff who I spoke with at Blandford Medical Centre in Braintree. It’s easy to forget the unrelenting pressure that they are all under and the volume of calls that they have to answer on a daily basis. The doctor I spoke with went out of her way to help me after days and nights of painful coughing and difficulties with my breathing. She even phoned back three times when my phone signal cut us off. I can’t thank the doctor and the kind reception staff that I spoke with enough. My coughing is easing and I am breathing a lot easier. Knowing that there are good people who really care about the people in our community and our wellbeing makes such a difference. Thank you all for being outstanding and for taking the time to listen, and be here for me and us all, when it really matters. You are all officially awesome.

    Very rude, nurse fabricated what happened in the consultation, there was no sympathy or empathy. Made situation worse. no compassion. Surgery has really gone downhill. Had been with surgery for over 44 years and will now move.

    Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to review your experience at the practice. I am sorry that your recent experience has been negative. I always encourage patients to get in touch and discuss their issues to see how they can be resolved but of course it is your right to leave and register elsewhere if you feel this is the most appropriate for you. In the last 2 years we have recruited 50% more staff to the practice, offered considerably more appointments and now assist patients on the phone, video and face to face, we have excellent online services for booking and we are working extremely hard under difficult circumstances and pressures that the NHS has never encountered in its over 70 year history. I am unsure where we have gone downhill as you have not specified this but I am sorry that you feel we have fallen short of your expectations.     I cannot express how brilliant this surgery have been. Honestly, the whole team - reception, nurses & doctors. They have truly gone above and beyond, and nothing has been too much trouble for them. I admire the fact, that you are not rushed off the phone, whether it be a call to the receptionist team, or a doctor calling you. I'm also so impressed that I've been seen by the doctors and nurses as and when needed. Genuine praise to the surgery itself. Keep up the fabulous yet thorough work that you all do.

    Having had my family join this surgery within the last year, we really have found all the staff - Receptionists, nurses and doctors to be super efficient and helpful. Everything really has run smoothly from day one. We as a family, very much appreciate you all. Please keep up the high standard of care.

    I was reluctant to leave my old surgery after 25 years but moving house left me no choice. My phone query to this surgery was dealt with efficiently and my first visit ( for a blood test) went very smoothly. The receptionist, phlebotomist and pharmacy staff were very pleasant and very helpful which is a relief as I suffer with extreme anxiety. My prescription was dealt with promptly in the adjoining pharmacy and I feel that in an age of constant complaining, all staff that dealt with me today deserve high praise and appreciation.

    I can't praise this GP practice enough. They truly are fabulous. I love that the receptionist team are super polite and helpful, and honestly nothing is too much trouble. The Doctors and nurses are all fabulous, and honestly go above and beyond. They really do care, and give you the time of day. Never rushed out of your appointment. It takes as long as it takes. Including phone call appointments. The fact that they listen, support, are ultra efficient and thorough - is truly a credit to all of you within that surgery. Thank you, to each and everyone one of you. Keep up the wonderful work that you all do.

    My call was answered promptly by a helpful receptionist who arranged a Drs call for me. The Dr called back within the timeframe given and was really kind and helpful and very informative about the next steps that would be taken.
